Any of y'all watch arcane? Netflix keeps sucking me in with shows with cool premises and aesthetics and making me relate and feel for characters and I'm not prepared for that shit. I wasn't ready for episode three man, that shit fucked me up.

I haven't made time for it although I'm a former league of legends player. Which as far as I'm aware, is not required to enjoy the show, but may have had the opposite effect on me and made me not in any hurry to watch because I left all of that behind.

ya know, i have absolutely zero interest in league of legends, but after hearing all the positive shit about arcane, i'm prepared to give it a go. currently i'm getting caught up on euphoria on hbo, but i think arcane will be my next watch.

Eh, it was... good. Like, just good. The obsession of the show with shots looking COOL and EPIC kind of drags it down for me, and the story itself feels thin. Granted, all the characters are believable, which does help the story a lot

I've watched it when it came out since I'm a fan of the League universe, and it was great. Imo it would be even better if you go in blind, and know nothing about the universe.

Arcane is the best thing I've seen in a long time, certainly better then any anime. I have a hard time finishing shows because I have anxiety and depressive disorders so I just avoid dealing with any extra emotions but this one was too good.

yeah I feel that. arcane was the first thing I've watched on Netflix since quitting halfway through squid game. I just want some media that looks cool and has fun characters, I'm really not prepared to feel, but Arcane atill dragged me in.

Yep watched it, liked it too. It does indeed get intense quite a few times.
I just hope they make a second season someday, I refuse to play play LoL (or any game in that genre) to get more story.
