This is an entirely separate game even if ultimately the content is the same and as such the rule (and automatic re-roll approval) for owning part of a package doesn't apply.

Wouldn't really matter if they weren't as they wouldn't get the re-roll and their only option would be a not received feedback if they did have an issue with it. I probably won't enter this as I'm planning on buying the pack at the end of the month but as the pack is the new bundle type I've still bookmarked this to check on later.
