I'm so sorry to hear that :( Living with a mental illness can be super tough, I've had Major Depressive Disorder for19 years, Anxiety for 5 years and just recovered from agoraphobia, though I still get anxious outside it's a lot better. Oh and an eating disorder ^_^;

I have a uncureable, chronic, illness since 21 years and know how it is to be bound, a lot of that time, at your flat/house.
I don't want go more into details because of changed things a short time ago.
Every day is a gift. Take it as a good day or take it as a bad day but you get no other So better try to like the bigger parts of it^^
To the game:
I can't remember that the sound was soooo shitty. But the game was very great and had a lot of gore for that time.

I'm having a lot of trouble adjusting to my new reality, in that I'm the kind of person who often pushes myself really hard, so it's difficult for me to pull back and make sure not to push it too far. I'm definitely struggling with that. Since I've also had Major Depressive Disorder for most of my life, I am well used to trying to appreciate and remember the good parts and just keep slogging through the other. ^_^
It's been so long since I've played it, but I always remember finding the premise super cool.
