This game makes me want to hurt things. But before we get to that, you should know that he's more of a gamer, rather than a developer.
Before my time here at Steamgifts he was a creator of mini-games that were used in puzzles. Some people apparently suggested he make a real game...

Goblin and Coins!

NB264 is a teacher, and has done other things. If you want to talk to him about that, go feel free. He's more interested in what you think of his indie game. This game was developed over 1.5 years spent some time on itch,io was released on Steam thanks to Greenlight.

Goblin and Coins is a game about a Goblin who failed to protect his Master's treasure....
It's a fairly hard Platformer that will make you die and die and die and die. The creator apparently liked Dark Souls too much and is a secret sadist.
I sometimes hate him. I sometimes hate this game. But if I was gonna give a game away, I required that I not only I paid for it, but I played the heck out of it.

I haven't beaten it. I'm most of the way through the game, but I have so much going on recently that I don't have the time to dedicate to gaming much at all.

Honest opinion, the game isn't perfect. There are several things that drive me absolutely crazy about this game.
I'm more interested in people who want to do something and push against all odds to get it done. Indie Devs, especially one of our own, therefore are those I find inspiring. He took some courses that allowed him to learn things he needed to create this game. People who are always learning should inspire the rest of us to push our limits and expand our horizons.

Maybe you'll finish the game on Casual and go for the Old School achievement. This game was inspired by classic NES platformers that were hard and that you'd have to play time and time again to finally get everything right. It drove me crazy. I will eventually beat it on Casual, but that's as far as I'll go, or I'll end up swearing at my computer again.

It'd be interesting to see someone complete a Let's Play of this on Old School. Any takers for the Challenge?
