I played it myself. I'd say it's like Gears of War (it's third person) with another setting and less gore. It's good point is the story which is certainly interesting for an FPS. The mechanics are good enough, but nothing special, though. But that's just my opinion. It's not like FPS's are giving you much room to create something unique.
