Replying because the Steam Sale purchase was my 4th time purchasing the game. Bought it upon release. A few years later again after a friend "borrowed" it. A third time after I lost my copy moving (just replayed it 6 months ago on the 360) and then again when it was a daily deal during the sale. And now I have it... forever. Probably my favorite game ever.

Anyone knows if the steam version have the same compatibility problems on XP than the retail one?
I've tried the retail version, its a great game, but I got bored of the game constantly shutting down or freeze.
