Mine is pretty bad haha, i actually have 2 that i switch between depending on what game i want to play so i dont put too much load on one or the other. Both are very old and ive had each for about 5 years now so they definitely have held their value :)

My first one is a Nvidia Gt 120 1GB video ram. (though it is old this is a great card even for today's low level to medium range gaming)
after 5 years on this card the fan on it is starting to make loud noises and gets slow when i game. I use it at small increments of time and it does fine :)

The second is a ATI Radeon HD 3650 256mb video ram. Im surprised that this thing can play some of the games it does like just cause 2 and things of that sort.

I know the cards i have are very very out dated but how about you guys out there? is yours possibly worse, equal or better than mine haha.
post below :) id love to see what games you are playing on that card as well

EDIT: when i get the money i am gonna go with the Nvidia GTX 660. Not as new as most today but enough for me to do what i want

Currently GTX 760. Bought half a year ago, but I might switch to something better in 2016.
Laptop with ATI Radeon Mobility HD 5650
And an antique PC with GeForce FX 5600 (more than a decade old) :p

Nvidia GT 430, got it 2-3 years ago for $50. The fan doesn't spin on it anymore so I now have a unmounted case fan blowing up into it.

Video cards get outdated so fast, after buying a "new one" you almost get halfway home with it and have to turn around to return it for an exchange/upgrade for a newer model... ;-)

Gtx 460 with a slight overclock. It still does a decent job while playing at lower resolutions, but I'll be switching to either 960 (if price / performance ratio is good when the official specs come out) or 970.

I have R9 270, not so bad, even today its lower midrange and can play all games(not with ultra graphics of course) with decent fps(yeah im sure there is some exception, so lets say almost all games).
I have no problem to lower graphic to get better fps. Atm dont have plan to upgrade.

Get your dusters ready...

I still have an old PC from my CS 1.0 - 1.6 days standing around, so in a shelf I have fitting graphics cards as well, like:

  • 2 * Riva TNT M64; 32MB SDRAM (released date: 1998)

  • ATi Radeon 7200; 64MB SDRAM (released date: 2000-2001)

  • GeForce 256; 32MB DDR Ram (released date: 1999)

Damn, some of you weren't even born back then... I'm getting old. :D

Atm I'm running 2 Gainward 460 GTX in SLI, a friend gave them to me after an other friend gave me an ATI Radeon HD 5770, the reason for friends giving their old cards to me, is because they have too many of them apparently and my much loved Zotac GTX 460 AMP(didn't make it to the 4th year) broke. :( (together with a RAM stick, searching for what was NOT broken was pretty annoying)
Not THAT old if you ask me, but still older than some cards people are listing here.
But I probably will buy a new card at the end of next year.

OP how can you survive with those cards? many of my games are struggling even with a Geforce 880 0.o

Sapphire Radeon x1600 Pro 2006
GeForce GT320M 2010 - i'm using my steam for a year and i have such a backlog i won't have to buy a new card for like 2 years.

I'm using ATI Radeon HD 5750 for last 5 years it was the entry DX11 card when it was introduced to 1GB video ram DDR5 - although I play mostly on DX9/10 mode. GFX Card is still capable of handling most modern games at medium settings @ my native desktop resolution 1440x900. The card started making loud noise recently need to replace it soon with a better option of playing @ full hd with at least high settings

I have a pretty old (and not really a very powerful one) VGA, a HD5670. All of my PC need to be upgraded, is about 7+ years old, but I need some more money to do that <.<

Radeon HD 7870 made my XFX

not amazing, but it gets the job done, I was getting 75 FPS in SR IV on ultra(last game I loaded and checked).. I have a pair of 144hz monitors(main can get 144, secondary can only get I think it was 75fps due to cards ports I guess.. I didn't care its the secondary and I only one screen games)

Using AMD 7790 right now, it's about 3 years,
I broke AMD 6770 and Nvidia 8800GT long time ago.
I also have Nvidia 7300GT from 2006 (I think), it's still usable and I keep it for reserve when primary card is broken.

I was using a GT520 1gb Ddr3, but it died a month ago, so now I'm on an Intel HD i5 1st gen, so you can imagine... :S
As I've replied in Angrygamer's post, I'll try to get a egpu solution and add something like a R7 260x or a 750ti. But now I'm unemployed so that will have to wait at least 3 months.
