Mine is pretty bad haha, i actually have 2 that i switch between depending on what game i want to play so i dont put too much load on one or the other. Both are very old and ive had each for about 5 years now so they definitely have held their value :)

My first one is a Nvidia Gt 120 1GB video ram. (though it is old this is a great card even for today's low level to medium range gaming)
after 5 years on this card the fan on it is starting to make loud noises and gets slow when i game. I use it at small increments of time and it does fine :)

The second is a ATI Radeon HD 3650 256mb video ram. Im surprised that this thing can play some of the games it does like just cause 2 and things of that sort.

I know the cards i have are very very out dated but how about you guys out there? is yours possibly worse, equal or better than mine haha.
post below :) id love to see what games you are playing on that card as well

EDIT: when i get the money i am gonna go with the Nvidia GTX 660. Not as new as most today but enough for me to do what i want

My laptop came with an NVidia GT630m. It's almost three years old but still performs pretty well on medium end games. (though I have to say that I find 20fps still acceptable)

GT 430, it does okay for most games although i am afraid more and more games will start to ask something higher as a minimum,
but there will be plenty of games left to play till i eventually might get a whole new pc, whenever that might be.

GTX 660... when I got it it wasn't already the newest series, but that's what I could afford. Don't ever know if I'd get a #70 / #80 model, since they're too expensive, but would probably end up being useful for a longer period - still not sure if worthy it unless you're a graphics whore.

got a gtx 580, still holding up pretty well tbh. i might not be able to play the most recent games with all the bells and whistles but if its a good game that doesnt really matter much to me.

I bought a card ( 7770 with the metal tubes ) that launched 2 years ago. Bought it on August 16 2013.
It's a great card. Good thing it has DX11, since certain developers are forcing games to use it.

Really wanted to change graphics card this year. But with the hassle of power supply + compatibility cross-referencing, figured I just use this card and get some games I missed instead.

Prices of graphics cards will decrease sooner or later when a new one comes out so Patience is Virtue.

And only 4GB of VRAM. Doesn't new games need 6 or 8?

almost only resolution + number of screens commands the amount of memory you need. 2GB are more than you need for a single monitor full HD, regardless of the settings. type of ram on the other side...

currently asus gtx 770 2gb

I bought an asus 970 a few months ago but I had to RMA it because it had a terrible coil whine, I will probably buy one again next year, maybe I'll have better luck

Nvidia GT 9400. Planning on replacing it next year. Along with a new HDD. Should probably stop spending on games on steam.

GT640 turned 1yo last week. only few games (in my library) don't play at max settings with min @25-30fps, so I'll hold on to it for a while :)

I'm still using my gtx275 and it still handles itself very well considering it's age (well, the monitor has a say in this, it only supports 1280*1024)
There's a gtx970 with my name on it in January (quite a jump).

One I haven't seen anyone else post about here....Nvidia GTX 285. Antique by today's standards. It does ok though so I haven't wanted to spend money to upgrade. It was a good card 5-6 years ago when I built this PC (like third from top of line at the time).
