Someone once told me the only way to avoid the birthday blues was to make sure you spent the previous year doing as much living as you can. Life gets in the way and work, school, whatever, but if you do things you enjoy, you won't mind getting older so much.

Given there's no way around getting older, I think it's best to not overthink it. Just gotta live day by day, and find time to have fun however one can :D

So last friday was my birthday. It's hard for me to believe, but I'm now less than a year short from my 30 year-old crisis. I'm hoping it won't be worse than any other birthday crisis I've been having since I started hitting my teens, but who knows. Forever young, I wanna be forever young...
In any case, I've been around here only for a few months, but I kinda like it. I don't know if I'll stay for a long time or not, as there are always way too many factors around life that we don't control, but hopefully it'll be a good time meanwhile. For now, I prepared a train to celebrate, which is something I really like seeing around :D
