WarFerret = War Dance= something Ferrets do when excited and want to play, its a cute frenzy of rolling around, headbutting, jumping, hopping, nibbles
WarFerret
Hence i called my ferrets back when they would start dancing as WarFerrets because it was a cute and fun to say
(also because i something get funny images in my head of ferrets in army helmets/gladiator gear/war paints or holding mini plastic guns/weapons trying to fend off the extremely friendly stray cats in my backyard with little/no effect in terms of combat ability hah)

my name is Luis, my friends call me Luchin, and chingador is a mexican slang for someone who is kind of like a pain in the ass but kind of a badass, look i was a teenager when i picked this nickname xd, to play medal of honor and Battlefield 1942, and havent changed it since, guess im keeping a brand. xd
btw as far as i searched i am the only one using this super original nickname, so if you ever see it in others games, its probably me :P

It's the name of my music project. It's a good username for things because it's never taken.

I named this Steam account after my new mascot, Candra. Software is what I'm best at.

When I was younger I thought it was a unique, random, name that I created which sounded nice. Much later I realised that this name I thought I had created was the name of a random Jedi youngling (http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Jempa). Although looking at the year that the character was given its name, mine may have come first.

What do you prefer - ranged or MeiLai weapons?
Sorry for the lame joke

Settle in kids, this is gonna be a long one. (or skip it, I'm not your dad). :p
Way back in 1987, my younger brother and I (9 and 11 years old) pooled our meagre resources and bought a second (Third? Fourth?) hand Commodore 64, with ancient TV (no remote, analog sliders for adjustments) and tape drive, and hundreds of pirated games. We played the hell out of that machine, and a few years later we decided to upgrade to an Amiga 500. It had half a meg of ram and a floppy drive! The game, oh the games. We played Bloodwych and Lotus Turbo Challenge 2; North & South and Escape from the Planet of the Robot Monsters; Project X and Stardust and a hundred more.
The son of a couple who were friends with my parents (and a huge computer nerd even then) introduced me to bulletin boards. Kinda the precursor to the internet. You could dial up a computer belonging to someone else, and access things in text on there. Many had one phone line so one concurrent user. Some were part-time (open only at night since they were using the home line). The fancier ones had multiple lines. Local calls are free so we'd spend hours on them. You could send messages to other users of the board, and play ANSI/ASCII games (text graphics). Some boards were hooked into loose networks and exchanged messages between them (dialling board-to-board on the same phone lines to send packets) allowing the first interBBS games. It was like team-based MMOs. We'd play Barren Realms Elite and Legend of the Red Dragon etc. But before that, one of the first "door games" (that was what a BBS game was called) I played was Lands of Devastation. A post-apocalyptic wasteland game where you'd create a character and go traipsing around the wastes killing critters or other players. The monsters were an eclectic mix of pop-culture references, historical critters, traditional RPG enemies etc. If you log off in the wasteland you were fair game to other players so it's best to either be way off the beaten path when logging, or safe in a village or if you were high level enough, in your own fort.
The game was brutal. If you died, you could revive and take a permanent hit to stats. At later stages of the game you got access to clones so you could revive from them, but early on, if you died it was better to create a new character.
When logging in to the game, it'd show a brief list of recent events to you, including player deaths. Bob was killed by a rampaging slug. ThePotato killed Doooofus. That kind of thing.
So every time I died I made a new character, with a new name, rather than taking the stat hit.
Axe murderer was killed by a Crazed Captain Picard
"Welp I guess it's time for a new guy..."
Anyway to mess with people reading the logs, I chose the name "A Corpse". Bob was killed by A Corpse. A Corpse was killed by a Giant Harpie that kind of thing. But he lived, and got to the stage where clones were viable. So I stuck with it. If it had happened at any other point I could have been called "Axe Murderer" (or my brother could have been "Axe Murderer Murderer", a name he chose at one point.) :p
So I've been "A Corpse" since probably 1989-1990 or so.

Do you have a backstory to your username?
Is there a reason you chose it?
What's the meaning?
Just plain random?
