Bloody Good Time (I am not a multiplayer kind of gamer, and didn't realize that was what this was initially), Darkspore (doesn't really work thanks to EA's DRM idiocy), Dead Rising 2 (can't seem to do anything right in that game, I guess I suck too much at it), The Guild 2 (not sure what the draw for that game is supposed to be), Legendary (expected a lot, and was very disappointed in the variety of enemies and the mechanics, needed more bosses too), Twin Sector (boring and confusing, controls seem iffy), and Transformers: War for Cybertron (gameplay sucked for singleplayer, feels like it needs the second player, and may be only medeocre for even that). That was only what I remember in my library, of which I have played all off

Deus ex human revolution (don,t get mad at me :p)
Just not my kind of game, I thougt of something falloutish but that was not the case. Gameplay was good but the story line was boring for me and also the side quests.
Hacking system was weird (fallout and bioshock hacking system is much better in my opinion) and useless when you could just google all of the codes for doors, gates and safes.
That was the biggest fail in the game.

The point of the codes was so that you could find many of them in game, without needing to hack. That is something that they brought over from the first one, and I thought was a nice touch. Not everyone would make their character a hacker, and they made it so you don't have to be. There was always a way around and a code/password to find. I liked in the first one how time didn't stop, so a camera scanning could pick you up if you weren't hidden, or be spotted by a patrolling guard. Seems to me the hacking in the first one was only based on your character's skill and even a level one hacker character could hack the hardest lock, given they had enough multitools, which were only for hacks.

Lux-Pain, Manhunt 2, Obscure: The Aftermath, Penumbra: Requiem, Red Steel. There are more, but honestly I can't remember them. These games are notably bad for poor gameplay controls and just general awfulness. Lux-Pain was awfully translated and Requiem was the loosest-possible definition of a game.

Sure thing, but these games bored me like hell.
Dear Esther would have worked better as a book.
Fallout New Vegas was my first game of the series and I don't like it.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim disappointed me still like Morrowind most.
Terraria don't know there is something with it, that doesn't keep me playing it.

Supreme commander 1 was much better than the first. It felt like they dumbed it down for everyone new to strategy games, and kind of ruined it, though I didn't think it was bad enough to have wasted my money

Game i regret buying from all time is darn Fable III. The biggest rip off i ever was victim to. The first 2 were great, but the third was a disgrace

Have you tried the mousefix mod? Or a controller?

Splinter Cell: Conviction - I hoped Ubisoft fixed the errors that plagued the release version, but nope. :(
From Dust: Oh, god. One of the greatest fails of that year for PC: horrendeous controls, idiot AI, mind-bogglingly slow and buggy DRM.
Mass Effect 3 & Dragon Age 2: the two games that convinced me not to pre-order any Bioware product for years to come.
Diablo 3: Well, yeah. I did play quite a few hours with this, but frankly, it is a trainwreck, end every time I return, - plus multiple times when I don't - I'm reminded of this fact. Path of Exile, Torchlight, or the new Van Helsing beat it in every important gameplay metric. How far the mighty have fallen, dear Blizzard. :(
Starcraft 2: HotS CE: Yup, there with Dio3, but not that bad. The story is hilarious, and it is also hilariously short. Plus, the fact that the workprint version of the outro was leaked right after SC2 is still either very funny or very embarrassing.

Prior: some formula 1 game for the playstation. My dad never played it and it was bought for him. Huge waste of money. Rollercoaster tycoon 3 - i played it just not enough. Not enough new things to play with made it boring.
Now: Fifa 13 somewhat. I like the career mode but it's not completely to my satisfaction, simply simulating makes your good team d not so good quite a lot. + Crash crash crash at release.
What are your regretful buys?
