My first game had to be the good old point and click flash games of the 2000s, my most beloved scooby-doo games really helped me get into the Survival Horror genre. First downloadable game had to be CastleMiner Z, better than minecraft, cheeper, and the best on the Xbox 360 to date. First computer game had to be Half Life 2, I adored it at the time. But my favorite game to date has to be Deus Ex: Human Revolution, the atmosphere, the world; everybody loves Skyrim, but in its place I put Deus Ex:HR. What are your firsts and favorites?

Oh and any Duke Nukem fans? I'd love to hear how your first experiences with the original game went, and how bad you felt DN: forever to be.

First game, can't remember. Been playing since I was about 2 years old so I can't say for sure which game was my first :/.
Favourite game would be Monster Rancher Battle Card: Episode II. Solid gameplay and great music. That and it is fucking Monster Ranchers which I love.

Age of Empires must be the first "real" video game I've played, since I don't count the games that my dad's former computer used to have as, well, games
My favourite game is an easy question: Ocarina of Time!

Hercules was my first video game that was my own. Before that I had only played video games at a friend's house(console) or with my older brother(PC), so those I wouldn't really count since I don't even remember what games we played!
Favorite game has to be Bully, though there are some close seconds.

Wouldn't call myself a Duke Nukem fan but I've played Time to Kill and Land of Babes. I know it's blasphemous but I thought Forever was alright, only the underground levels really bugged me out. :p

First "real" game was RollerCoaster Tycoon. I played some free games or demos of games on PC before that, but RCT was the first paid game I ever played. Yes, I'm fairly new to gaming in general. :P

I am pretty sure my first game was Kangaroo on Atari 2600. I was absolutely stunned - it looked so fun. I went to play more Atari games, then switched to NES, then eventually to PC.

Some old Atari 2600 knock-off Chinese console in the late 80s.
First "proper" video game I played was during vacation, on an arcade machine that ran the '93 Punisher game.
First game I played and owned a long time was Super Mario All-Stars.
First PC game was Digger on a borrowed PC, Commandos: Behind Enemy Lines on a PC our family owned.

My first PC game to play was CD-man on PC. Here's the link.

Though my version was with actual CD-man (Pac-man-like), not a marshmallow guy as in the screenshots.

First game on Steam was Portal. Outside of that I'm not really sure, it was a long time ago^^ Favorite game to this day is Portal 2 :p I just love puzzle games and Portal is honestly the most innovative and interesting in the genre

If you didn't, play Talos Principle then. IMHO, even better than Portal.

Played it. Definitely up there. The puzzles are harder, I love the philosophical aspect of it, and it's even hilarious at times. But there's just something about Portal that makes it stand out for me :p

Well, make sure to grab it on GOG, all money on GOG goes as much as possible to the devs.

Oh, I didn't know that. alright then, yes I will. I can get it a lot cheaper on steam with my local currency but I think they deserve a little bit more for their masterpieces. Thanks for letting me know.

Hey, no problem, and if you're really looking to get an extremely cheep price and make the devs depressed, try CDkeys.com, they have the GOTY for $26

just checked and it looks like a grey market to me, like the geetwo-A. not gonna support something like that. I'm good with gog or steam.

Whoa, some people supported CDkeys more than G2A, but I'd rather shell my money out to the best devs ever and their site then CDkeys. Happy gaming, and wait for that sale! ;)
