Sammy Hagar or David Lee Roth?
Ok, you redeemed yourself with the joke. :D
Thanks for the bump!

Van Halen never becomes Van Halen without Dave as the frontman. Dave's distinctive vocals (not to mention hip swaying and pelvic thrusting) were the perfect match for Eddie's signature (iconic?) sound.
Van Halen developed into a more mature and polished sound with Sammy at the helm and it was perfect for that point in their career.
To make me choose between the two is, well, evil.
I refuse to play your game.
OK fine.
Dave.

It's kind of tough, right? I've actually seen them live with all three (yep, I said "three") vocalists, and after letting the poll sit a while longer, I'll publicly reveal my own opinion (which everyone can take or leave as they wish :) ).
BTW, for both intelligent commentary and your awesome avatar, you made the whitelist. :) I'm going to do some whitelist gibs this coming week, I think. Stay tuned.

I was 9 when the split happened, so I never got to see Van Halen in the David Lee Roth era. My dad was a huge fan though, so I grew up listening to them. Saw them with Sammy a few times, including one of the reunion shows. I've caught a few Chickenfoot shows up in Reno too. Quality stuff.
Appreciate the add, man. I added you before I even answered the question last night lol.. I haven't been able to make a lot of GA's lately, but I do what I can when I can.

Yeah, same here, but I caught them with Dave once they re-banded a few years back. But I got to see them with Hagar 3-4 times when they were together...really kick-ass shows.
I've caught Chickenfoot a couple of times, too. That's definitely a case of the live show being better than the studio albums (although they're not bad...just the live show elevates the material to a whole new level). I caught Sammy with The Circle as well...it was basically like a greatest-hits-of-anything-Sammy-Hagar-has-been-in show (with a little Led Zep thrown in for good measure). Lots of fun, and the first time that I finally got to hear him play any of his solo stuff live, other than "Eagles Fly," which he used to do with Van Halen every once in a while.

Okay, so here's my second train. It follows a pretty common format, where you get access to better giveaways based upon your giving level (giving is good, people). There are 3-4 giveaways for each level from 0 to 3+.
That's it -- have fun!
ALLLLLL ABOOOOAAAARRRRDDD!
(bumping appreciated, but definitely not required :) )
