Have been in contact with Nomad Games support, and they have said that if you got your request for key in before they closed the offer down this morning, then you are in a queue and you will get your key, probably within a couple of hours.
So even though there was a cock-up with the keys it seems they will honour their commitment, and if they do, I think they deserve credit for that.
