How much you spent on a Single game?

The last two games I remember paying full price for were Skyrim and Dark Souls II ($50 each). I've never been a fan of MMOs, so I can't speak for them, but it amazes me how someone can spend over $500 on a single game!

Well it depends on the MMO.

Back on 2011 when MMO communities were literally huge, i was spending 250$ year round. Now i spend 5-10$ annually.

Spent over $600 on a private server for Ragnarok Online.
I played that game for nearly 8 years on and off. And when I quit, I sold my gear for tf2 keys. Probably got all my money back that I spent on that game.

I don't know, but I think it's around $20... My older brother let me use his credit card, so I bought the Dota 2 Compendium last year. I don't usually spend money in games, but this case was special :p

Never spent anything in free to play MMO. I was really tempted when I was playing World of Tanks, tho

I don't really want to know haha. Spent a fair bit on playing WoW. Base game, all the expansions, game time and majority of the mounts and pets from the store.

Let's see... $15/month for 5 years on FFXI. :3...

Well never payed too much for a mmorpg, I've played Ultima on line for YEARS but it was on an unofficial free server 8which is still up). I bought guild wars 2 for 15€ :3

well dota2 f2p so i dont pay or buy anything

The most I payed for in-game items was 6€ in BF F2P for a bunch of weapons, while the game still was "F2P".

well, i had WoW (up to Cataclism) for 18 months~. some were free, most was bought in a sale. but i'd easly say above 200$.
i had fun, so can't complain right?
btw, didn't PvP only PvE. that game has a lot of stuff

Fallout New Vegas bought twice (30 Euros in total I think), Deus Ex 1 four times (my guess is around 30 USD in total). These are the most I spent on a game.

Oh, and Remember Me, if we count Steam cards. The game was about 13 Euros, and spent another 15 on level 5 + foil badge out of appreciation.

never spent a penny on free to play games otherwise they wouldnt be free to play ...

Gw2 now - 32 dollars for base. Playing for 2 years and i buy stuff with gold

Because MMOs are evil and they don't deserve my money (otherwise known as "because I'm stingy as hell" :D ).

Well, ok, there was RuneScape once upon a time. But I was young and stupid then, the game used to not suck and I consider the monthly "membership" fee to be more like unlocking the actual game (without it you're essentially playing a Demo).

Spent 120$ on a Star Citizen pledge. It comes with tons of physical goodies (limited amount) though, so it's a reasonable "price".

Played Anarchy Online for at least 5+ years with all expansions+preordered some of them. Think it ends up that 500+ said there.

No option for none in the poll? I haven't spent a single penny in a f2p game yet and I'm proud of it!

Honestly I haven't been keeping track. With sub payments the number is probably way up there. Vanity items isn't really something I spend my money on unless it's something REALLY amazing.
