Will you consider the Epic Game Store your new default library?
Something happened with my e-mail or with Epic. It wants from be security code sent on e-mail (I set two step authentication in December). But from 2-3 days i can not receive it (with multiple tries). Funny think is that every other e-mail or even they support emails comes to me. They also say it is ok in their systems. I wonder whats now as it looks without change of email I will never login again as I can only hope on other email it would work :).
This is my first time when i wish I did not turned on two step verification :)

Dont know what happened but Epic support is fast but dont help. They can not add free game in my account, can not turn off two step authentication (even if I write with them from the same account this security code should come), can not change my e-mail. They only repeat that it is everything good from they side and then i should check spam etc. Of course checked it 10 times already. It looks like my account will be lost or it will take weeks to repair it:)

They've made an official blog post with each promotional release thus far, so it's easy to look up.
How accurate the times listed in their blog posts have been, however, I can't say.
Edit: They fixed it.

Cool. Thanks for the heads up
Edit: Can't get it. That sucks. Edith Finch is a wishlist game of mine. :[

Yeah we missed out. I didn't realize it was free until I seen Boogie2988 last upload on youtube. I did claim Subnautica and Super Meat Boy but then I forgot about this. It doesn't help that this thread was not bumped for like 6 days. All well, at least we can get the next game.

What makes you think this? There is a requirement that games offered free elsewhere have to also be offered free on Steam but this only applies when other giveaways provide Steam redeemable copies of the game.

It's already transitioned to the store for sale, they just haven't removed the promo at the top yet. They very well could of removed it when it hit the 24th by their HQ's time and that was about 7.5 hours ago.

With that date and time the new game wouldn't come till the 25th. I'm thinking maybe they messed up and it should of been 11:59PM EST on January 23rd, a minute before the 24th. Which possibly matched up with the current situation.

That's a reasonable determination, except that Super Meat Boy overlapped with Edith Finch in the exact same way, and both games seemed to be available over the 10th. [>>] It could be that they intended AM instead of PM, but that also wouldn't explain why both notices are identical in timestamping or why Edith isn't available at the moment (or, at that, why Jackbox isn't available, if the intent had been to end it prior to today, given that previously there haven't been any empty spaces between games).

I didn't know Meatboy overlapped. I thought it ended before the new one began. If that's the case then yeah it was probably pulled early on accident or a bug.

It was showing 19.99 for me, too, but I just reloaded the page a couple of minutes ago and it was free. I just added it to my account. It's worth checking the page again!

Next game, Axiom Verge, is worth checking out if you're a fan of metroidvanias. More metroid than vania. Pretty solid game.

In my local store I see Soon. Link above is from Epic's news article (https://www.epicgames.com/store/en-US/news/axiom-verge-is-available-for-free).

I do admit it looks fantastic. The negative reviews though point out exactly what I'm afraid I will totally dislike. I hate weak endings that don't make sense and I fear the humour will not be to my liking. So I think I'll wait two weeks and get it for free ;)

"Will you consider the Epic Game Store your new default library?"
That's where the problem lies...You should never have a default library. Some libraries have more games than others, different offers (free games, discounts), etc...
I have lots of games across a ton of platforms, as some games are not multiplatform. While the bulk of my games might be on one platform (steam), it's in no way my default library. It's like people who own multiple consoles - they are all good in their own ways.

Its not uncommon for people to buy a second or even third console primarily for that platforms exclusives. If I primarily play on Xbox but then buy a Nintendo just to play Maria and Zelda then Xbox is absolutely my default. The same applies to Steam where most gamers who don't focus (almost) exclusively on a single game/franchise will typically buy there games on Steam then just have other clients to claim various freebies.
A platform/client being your default/primary doesn't mean that it's superior it's just that almost any given gamer will always gravitate towards one over the others depending on what they want. As an Xbox 360 achievement hunter I came to Steam for discounts on the small number of GFWL titles that were available. As next (now current) gem consoles came around I naturally drifted over to PC in favour of consoles and due to its feature set and the library I'd built up from bundles Steam became my default. Had I transitioned to current gem consoles my pc focus would instead have likely been GOG for the handful of classics I go back to from time to time.
So ultimately even though I specifically purchase games on GOG/Uplay/Origin and likely use them more than the average freebie collector Steam is absolutely still my default.
