Metro: Last Light Reviews

I guess IGN wasn't payed enough for "OMGGMGMGMG GOTTTYYYYYYYYYYYYYYyYYYyYYyyyy"

All I need to know is they are withholding a game mode as pre order and DLC for 5$.

and not just any game mode, the game mode most people that play metro want to play on.

Ok so I know my opinion is just that but man as a avid gamer I check out a lot of games and try to enjoy them and I know everyone is different but for some reason I just cannot get into the Metro series. I have the pc version that you know we all pretty much got for free so can't really complain there but it was ok.. I mean it was a serious version of Fallout 3 for me and more fast paced first person shooter combat style at times without the fancy vat system, etc. but enough comparing it to Fallout 3... I was surprised that someone that you could save and endure intense near death experiences ends up smoothly saying, "Hey I'm really with this group of people and your under arrest now but I do consider you a friend still just doing a soldiers duty." That just seems really stupid to me because any human being in that situation would realize that would just be impossible to do but hey that's just my own way of thinking maybe.

The game just seems the same as the first Metro and kinda boring... I just never got into the story really the special effects and lighting are amazing in terms of realism but everything is just always this dull wasteland style. Maybe I'm just getting burned out on those types of games seeing how horribly depressing the situation is, and that's a whole other topic in itself, but I expected better at least since all of these great reviews seem to say that this is a hot game but honestly it is so boring! The only fun I had was shooting out all the lights lol. Ok I know I sound like an idiot after saying that but does anyone else agree? Of course I only rented it so I don't feel a reason to justify having bought it and pushed myself to absorb it more but I played 4+ hours and took it back early, first time I ever did that with a game I rented from redbox, cause I felt like I had to play it but really didn't want to.

I just finished, very cool sequel, it has a stronger story and more shit comes out, the ending was ehhhr kinda sad; it didnt show much actually maybe the will make another one. The biggest flaw of the game is the AI, really i tried even in ranger mode i barely noticed you could stomp enemies(cept bosses) with headshots and shotgun blasts, i wish it was longer too around 6-8 hours to finish it~. There some weird areas you will get fps drops and some weapons just suck
