Sorry that this is so delayed, but if you are interested in any of the included games, you aren't out of luck. While the activation key only works on an account made for the intended regions, anyone can make a US account. I use gift cards from Amazon on my US account to purchase games. They all work on any system. No region locking on the system other than one PS3 title. The systems support multiple accounts as well. Mine has 5 (my NZ, US and JP accounts, as well as accounts of two friends that have shared games with me).

Did I miss something, or is this a new low? This stuff is region locked and they only mention it in some small disclaimer at the bottom of the site? With their PC bundles, "unavailable in your region" is usually grayed out and detected by your IP. Not that I would even consider playing stuff on a system that doesn't even have a proper keyboard...

Oh, okay. That's probably good to know for console players. Again, I personally wouldn't touch a system that doesn't even have a proper keyboard and I don't like propriety stuff in general. Just for the sake of curiosity, do you need a VPN to create multiple country accounts?

Nope, Sony takes your word for it. Just select the country of your choice when creating an account and you're good.
