Witcher 2 or Skyrim

Beat both. Enjoyed both differently. On an enjoyment scale I would say Witcher 2 wins, but I'm more into the type of gameplay Witcher 2 offers in comparison to Skyrim.

As said before Witcher 2 pretty much beats Skyrim at story, ambiance and AI. But at the end Witcher 2 is just a game you throw away after you finish it, Skyrim on the other hand will last longer you will probably never even finish the game. Also I want to point out that the modding scenes for Skyrim is awesome possibilities are endless! but you probably already knew that.

For me, hands down Skyrim ticks all those boxes. Just when you think it's over it's not. I find the Witcher 2 to be unecessarily complicated.

Skyrim had funner gameplay while Witcher had better story and setting. Skyrim story was pretty lackluster and Witcher 2's combat is annoying.

witcher has a much better story, and, well, overall a better game, but skyrimz is far, far more replayable.

Witcher. I did played both games. Also read the whole Saga. This game is a way better in storytelling. And it can't be dispute - basement of this game is a masterpiece book series of Andrzej Sapkowski.

Skyrim. Well... it's a good old TES with new features, story, lore. And a new open world of northern province of Tamriel.

Hard to say which game is definitely better, but... Story - Witcher > Skyrim.

If you want a bit more linear story-driven awesome game play the witcher series. If you want sandbox repetitive grinding play TES.

witcher 2 is more worth your money. the story is miles ahead of skyrims, and miles better than nearly every other game. metal gear solid level of quality, without all the corny writing. it's dirty, its dark, and its one of the prettiest games out there right now. and has the entire second act dependent upon the choices you make within the story. i love the combat system of the witcher, it's a bit more complex and requires a more reactive mindset then skyrim's but also less complicated. you dont need to root through menus in the middle of battle to utilize all of your abilities. the gameplay is great and integrates conversations and unique minigames like bar brawls, arm wrestling, and bargaining with a prostitute all as part of the fun.

the only reason i would tell anyone to get skyrim over the witcher 2 is if they have a lot of time on their hands and just like to roam around a sandbox killing stuff. it's not a bad game at all, i've sunk 170some hours into it, but i would rather be playing the witcher 2.

In Skyrim you'll find anything from bugs to awesome things , in witcher 2 you're gonna dive through epic story and have lots of fun and enjoy playing it . Skyrim gets repetative after some time , caves look same and stuff ... loot is different though
