Which is the best

I've heard that some people who enter only the "invite only" GAs on the forums have 0 games hidden. However if you intend on entering many GAs on the main page and really want to play games you win, having them sorted out really helps and makes the process faster.
Currently I have 7,221 games in hidden and I usually see about 5-6 pages of GAs in the main feed.

I'm in a few groups, whitelisted by a few people, one higher level then you and probably have a different choice of hidden games.

When I filter by wishlist right now I get 5 GAs (having 100 titles on wishlist).
On my wishlist I put games which I want to play and I'm sure I'll get them some time in the future. On Steamgifts I don't want to enter only titles from my wishlist, but also games that don't look like an incredible gem, but I'll gladly check them out if I don't have to spend money on them.

I'm at an even 900 :) But I haven't been here long, so I'm sure it will continue to grow

Steam had something like 15k games added to it's library last year
I feel like you possibly added a 1 there. 15K'd nearly double the amount of games on Steam (which was around 20K before this year, as I recall), so that seems a bit.. much, even keeping the ever-increasing flood of trashy Direct and VR games in mind. I'm not up-to-date with Queue for a change, so I can't really confirm anything myself, though. But, in November, estimates were still only at 6000, so 15k would have been a truly impressive leap. :P
(Though, of course, SG also includes DLCs, packages, and variant editions, which such statistics presumably don't. So from SG's perspective, the filter increases for the year may very well have ended up being that high.)
Which is the best
Oh, please. As if we have that kind of selection within the States.

Yeah you're right I think must have read a stat one time about games on Steam and took it as 'this year' instead of 'all time'. Wouldn't be surprised if it gets to that stage at some point though with the amount of crap they allow to be sold on Steam these days! XD
Oh, please. As if we have that kind of selection within the States.
I was testing to see how many UK people there are on here! Not many going by the poll results! (Also people just love a potato poll for some reason! XD )

I'm at 4k and I registered in November of this year (well technically of last year, but you know what I mean) :P
Less than 2 months.
Everyday, I only need to look at the 'New' giveaways and that's much quicker.
I am not that selective about games, but if I see games with a Mixed rating or worse, immediate skip, and for Mostly Positives and Positives, I start checking out the content and reviews to determine if I'm susceptible of trying them out.
Oh, and the fact I'm not interested into Visual Novels kinda grew my filter list by a thousand, I swear too many indie companies think that this is the way to go. I miss Phil Fish...

I like having a wishlist of games that I definitely want to play soon! I often cut it down to less that 30, but that doesn't mean that the games I cut I would never want to play especially if I happened to win them for free!
I guess your way mean less filtering on here but I like having a neat wishlist.

It means waaay less filtering :D
I'd rather filter a thousand games that I'd want instead of filtering 20,344 games as of now.
Yours is an endless endeavor. Ours is much simpler.
I get what you're doing of course. It's just that to me it's a massive waste of valuable time :D (Not that I use that time well, but whatever ;D)

I have over 1000 games hidden because I was too lazy to hide anymore so now I just ignore giveaways for games I'm not interested in.

So I started off by only hiding the big name games that I already owned on other platforms or games that I'd heard of before but had no interest in playing. But over time I kept adding things to that list and before I knew it... 2,461 games hidden!
I dunno if I want to keep it up cause Steam had something like 15k games added to it's library last year so that's a lot of games to keep clicking hide on.
What do you guys do? Just skim the list of new GA's every so often or hide every game you possibly can?!
