Probably have arround 1k hours in LotRO. Loved the game, but kinda fell from grace when they changed the skill system, at least for me, so i only play it for a little bit, every now and again, for old time sake.
Played some Guild Wars 2 when it came out, but got tired of it quickly, never really liked the "quest" system. Sorta felt like a chore. Getting to a new area, killing a few of these, collecting some of those... eh.
Also played RuneScape when i was a kid.

I haven't been playing any MMO's lately but i am highly anticipating on the upcoming: "Revelation Online". I'm actually hyping about this game already but i wouldn't be too suprised if it ended up as a total flop like a rest of them crosses fingers & prays

I was playing TERA and enjoying it a lot when I got very bad news while playing and developed an association with it, every time I try to play it I think back to that time, It's a great game though. Also sometime play Star Wars: The Old Republic, pretty fun.

"Knight Online World" - 3,000-5,000 hours (pre-steam) - Very Heavily P2W - Do Not Recommend (no game moderation, hackers, & extreme overpowered baba gear)
"Dungeons and Dragons Online (Turbine's Version) - 500-700 hours (pre-steam) - Hardly P2W because its mostly PVE - Not Really Recommended (limited without sub)
"DC Universe Online" - 1,600-1,800 hours (mostly steam hours) - Not P2W - Not Recommended (due to extreme limitations without an active sub)
"ARK: Survival Evolved" - 1,000 hours (entirely steam) - Not P2W - Unknown for me on MMO but certainly recommended for private server or single player
"The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited" - 600-700 hours (entirely steam) - Not P2W (cosmetics & expansions are only possible purchs) - Highly Recommended
Sadly I have poured several thousand hours in mmo's and I can really only recommend ESO, and personally ill prob be returning to it at least part-time soon xD
Im not sure if anyone else has mentioned this but P2W and Grind2Win can sometimes feel like the same thing... while most of those listed here and on may others lists are not P2W, they will still very much award the longer grinders the better and more powerful gear, and can be just about as bad as P2W in some games...
Update: I listed all I had ever significantly played, the only one I could say I still play or would play is ESO though or maybe ARK in Priv Server. Not even sure ARK should be on MMO list.

I've "tried" a lot of MMOs but none really clicked.
They either had bad performance, required partying with randoms to do the main quest line, had too many fetch quests or were just... generic enough to be boring.
So no, but hopefully in the future, yes.

Does any know of any "casual" MMO's that have a little more depth than the typical F2P mobile game that just uses the friend function in a very superficial way? I mean in which someone could spend maybe 5-10 minutes a day at it and still be relevant and feel connected to others?

Just playing Black Desert right now. Been considering picking FFXIV back up and playing the expansion but haven't got around to it.

Used to play Crystal Saga for a few years but finally quit, took a lil bit longer to get the fiancee to quit the same game but thankfully steered away from mmo's as 90% are $2win heavy.

I did meet some people who are playing MMOs, but the past couple of years I never met anyone, playing them. Is this genre still relevant? If you are playing them, which ones do you like the most?
