TLDR links: What about the Kinect always being on, and charging extra fees if it detects that you have a lot of people watching a movie/game at the same time?

Haven't bothered to look at the thing much, but I got the impression it was built in. And that you can't turn it off. And that MS will do what it wants with all the amatuer porn it records of the few who dare buy and used that cursed console ...

24 hours login or else can't play offline games/no trading games of any kind->people complain

Can play whenever you want offline games/no need for 24 hours login/trade games how you want->people complain

And after this kind of reactions, people still complaining that big companies are not listening to their feedback.....

They will include all the DRMs they "remove" now in an update! I'm sure about it.

It's great that they listened to the complaints about the DRM, however they should have kept the feature (make it optional) that copies the game from the disc to the console HDD for easier access

They're like £54.99 for me. Normally I can get games for £39.99 or £44.99 at the most

No, not really. Those are placeholder prices, Sony/Microsoft didnt confirm any prices for EU/UK region yet. TAnd there will be deals as usual 1/2 months after the games come out.

I doubt it, if the game doesnt have a price yet, its marked as £1.00

I think they are on about amazon so this isnt the case. They offer a price guarantee there. So if they put games at say £40 and they are £45 they lose £5, so they are set higher, and will drop down when given official prices. They were £90 untill they announced it isnt that high.

Most of online retailers have a price guarantee. Meaning that, if you preorder something at "x" value, you will either get it for that price or lower, but never higher than it. I can guarantee you 100% that £54.99 will not be the price for the new console games(except for special/limited editions of course)

AFAIK Sony announced not long ago PS3 games price in Europe will be 60 euro now. Wondering if they will keep it for PS4.

But seeing how more and more PC games are getting 50+ euro price tag on Steam - not only CoD, but even PC exclusives like Rome 2 - it probably will stay...

Good to see, probably still won't purchase it though, they've already shown their true colors, and I didn't like it. I wonder why they really even bothered to begin with, obviously it was clear something of the reaction that was displayed was bound to occur, I know they didn't really have a choice, either keep it and lose $$ or ditch it and cling to whatever customers forgive them, I just saw what they were doing as just a measure of preventing piracy, yet ignoring what consumers really wanted, sort of like making a console Microsoft would want, and not the gamer:P

They should call it Xbox Rubber on account of it being bendy and changing if you yell at it enough. In all seriousness though, who's to say they won't change some other aspect once they've got the fanbase back again, screwing over their customers once again.
