First Train ^^ New Gaming Rig Party (new ticket up)

Celebrating my final parts showing up for my new rig, also hoping these GA's might grant me some good karma points from life so the build will go well without any nasty surprises.

Nothing too fancy, bunch of leftover bundle keys, but still...

Hopefully I'll be sending keys to winners from the new machine, if I get a bad part, or the whole thing explodes into flames after I touch it, I'll get the keys to winners from my tablet, just with slightly sadder mouse clicks XD... /:(

I like to limit the power flowing through my mainboard, so I usually keep most fans on the PSU. And I buy quiet fans, so the constant on is not an issue.

That was another concern I had. years ago I was looking into an FCU for a build that didnt happen, I might make that one of my first optional parts. Still a bit confused tho, PSU has 2 female molex adapters on it, but fans direct supply is also female... FCU should bypass that tho, thx for input ^^

I'm sure it depends on the controller. I hook mine directly to the PSU though, using the molex to pin adapters that come with the fans.
