Apparently Valve issued the Savage Resurrection devs the wrong type of key that was not flagged/designated as beta.
If you see any sites selling cheap keys, they're not legit -- can only purchase the game through Steam.

Mine was revoked as well. They shared it in the Steam forums because the beta is over.
So if anyone created a GA with keys they got from the beta signup will have issues now..

Hate it when devs remove beta on this way, I hate seeing steam alert on my account even when I know that nothing bad will happen to account, it just sucks to use this way of removing beta when other devs remove beta without steam alert.

Agree. For example, when beta for DOOM ended i did not see any alert messages, game just disappear from library (and i still can see activation on license page)
