Awesome. For the recordkeepers, I used to be called "yobokkie", so I now have a grand total of 2 correct guesses... haha.

Based on the attached YouTube thumbnail of this video, it's No One Lives Forever 2: A Spy in H.A.R.M.'s Way. I pass.

Well you're right, but it would have been nice if someone who actually knew the game had got it, I tested the image through google and it didn't seem to pick it up, but I guess it's too smart.

Haha yeah google makes us all pretty lazy in different ways.

I would have solved it, but EsalRider was faster with posting :(
So I'll just add that fighting off a group of ninjas in a trailer park while a tornado is ripping through the place, and getting sucked up into said tornado in the middle of a boss fight makes for one of the best FPS levels I've ever played.

You sir, get a blue heart for that. That game... just... damn. I have played it multiple times over the years and the design and gameplay was and still is just in a class of it's own. Games like half life and deus ex from that era get all the love, but the way no one lives forever combined these set pieces like the tornado into a story that was well told and acted (and pretty darn funny at times), mixed in elements of RPG skills, allowed the freedom to play a few different ways, gave us a kick ass female lead that wasn't based on the size of her breasts, a range of crazy weapons and managed to mix up the levels so that every chapter was a surprise is something that I've not seen any other game do.
It still even looks passable graphically 15 years later. There really has not been a FPS game I've enjoyed as much in 15 years. Sure there's been a lot I've enjoyed but none that have the same combination that just works so well.

So sad that Contract JACK looked like it needed a monkey so far of it was from the former games and just a monotone shooter :\ Really would have liked to see another game with Cate "The Fox" Archer. Oh well, I guess Monolith already though about abandoning sheep at that time xP https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tOB1V3S8DqE

Haha, I didn't even need the youtube reminder, I remember most of the dialogue so well from both games, but that level and the dialogue betweem Armstrong and Inge was definitely a highlight. "Fatty, fatty, fatty"
Contract JACK was mostly a mod originally, so I think the main dev team had nothing to do with it. I prefer to pretend it doesn't exist at all. But monolith is still around and Gotham City imposters from a few years ago suggests they still know how to make crazy characters and weapons, (albeit the multiplayer only/ free to play model didn't do that game any favours), so I hold out hope that one day they will take a break from FEAR and shadow of mordor to make another funny shooter game, even if they can't get the licence to no one lives forever. OF course the main character would have a tough job filling Cate's shoes, so a licensed game would be best. Even if someone just modernised and remastered the first two games I'd be there with my money.

Oh, Gotham Impostors was Monolith? Didn't know that (trying to avoid MMOs, only UO/GW/TOR/STO got me hooked in my gamelife). And yea, they would also have my money too for official remasters (some things were already done by the community, no idea how active after all this time though) and heh maybe if they couldn't get Cate maybe they can get the licence to "the other Archer" and make it something in a style like XIII, could be also fun^^"

While we're at it, let's also cross our fingers that Monolith/Warner will buy back the publishing rights for Shogo and do something meaningful with that.
Like a proper re-release that works on modern PCs without a hassle, instead of the messy, rushed cashgrab that was published under the "Interplay" name.
Last I heard, what's left of Interplay these days were looking to sell off their stuff at any rate..

A-men to that. Or at least some mh.. I guess one can call them refurbishers like nightdive studios takes on ip's like those, because sad as it is a lot of people at the studios that shaped the classics are nowadays not even there anymore and gone elsewhere or founded their own studio, like Chris Avelone and at least 50% of the old game staff iirc done and founded Obsidian.

That last pic with the guitar reminds me so much of this indie film:
It's kind of cool that the official license holder has released a bunch of their older indie films on YouTube to view free of charge!
