This is a great site, but it has it's flaws or just things that are pet peeves to us.

Mine would have to be people who create 5+ giveaways at the same time and have them all be contributor only.

Yours?

Wish there was a way to auto-minimize game giveaways that you already own... be nice to not have to scroll through 15 pages of humble bundle giveaways!

the thing that I dislike the most about this site is people who doesn't do much on the site. They barely commend and don't make giveaways. They just leech off this site and go somewhere else with their winnings to try to make a profit off them.

"They just leech off this site and go somewhere else with their winnings to try to make a profit off them." and then they get banned for not activating/trading won game

more often than not, they are not caught. I found a guy, who was trading a game in traders guild chatroom, that had none of his wins activated and was trying to trade his recently won dev key

You know, the best we can do is report those people (only then support will be able to ban all abusers without going through and checking every user on their own). But there is at least one group that checks and shares profiles of abusers (and I can see you are one of members there). I have faith in our support. I just hope one day we'll catch all them abusers.

People who do not contribute who complain about contributor giveaways....

I don't like that I can't see who I have reported (should be a sub-section in the support section) and how long suspensions last (I'd prefer to see it, like I can on tf2outpost)

I dislike that the dev giveaways still have unclaimed keys. Can't they be auto-re-rolled after 2 weeks?

not a biggie, but constructive feedback and all =P

The lack of clarity in many giveaways about whether they're offering a key or a giftable item via Steam.

One is much safer than the other to accept.

Finding a giveaway for a game I NEED but it;s contributor only.People:If I had enough money to buy games to contribute so that I can enter,I would just buy the game.

Pretty bold statement to declare that one would actually need purely virtual entertainment product. One can of course want it but why would single person's desire be more worthy than others?

I may only wonder what mysterious thing happened to you to make you need a game. I mean, I'm sorry bro, are you really gonna die without it?

Yet another reason to make contributor only giveaways. Prevents entitled little kids from entering :D

I find his statement pretty clear. Just replace need for want, it's not that hard people, use your brain

Yet it does not tell how one person's desire to play a game is greater than others. It may come as surprise to some but contributors play and want to play games too. Usually quite much in fact.

Nope. He put NEED in all caps, like an entitled kid who just NEEDS to have a game. My point stands, I'm glad he can't win my giveaways :)

Mine would be people complaining about contributor giveaways.

I'm not even trying to poke at you, that's just something that does bug the crap out of me. I will admit that people who put ridiculously high requirements are annoying, though that Fortix giveaway that required like, two grand was hilarious.

Other than the absolute worst of the worst morons in Support and the people bitching about it without any idea what's going on in there or how hard the mods have been working since we got back in (despite, you know, extensive documentation about it all), for me, it's got to be... actually, I don't know. There's a bunch of little quirks and minor annoyances for me, but nothing I'd label as my least favourite. I'm happy with the forums, I'm happy with the overall community, the fake giveaways and all are being kept in hand now... there's nothing that's really "least favourite" for me because it's all so minor to me.

Edit: Scratch that. Underscores causing italics. That fucks up non-clicky links so damn badly...

Maybe contribute? My first day on the site I gave away a game, figured if people were going to give me the chance to win something the least I could do was return the favor.

Could use some more Steam integration, but that's nearly impossible, because you would have to get Steam in on it.

I was thinking like when you make a giveaway that you have to either choose a game from your inventory or type in a key that then gets checked on Steam for what game it is. Then there would be the whole reserving the key or inventory game until the giveaway ends, so that you couldn't just give it to someone else. After that there would be the checks against the winner to see if they own the game or not and then just choose another if they do. At last the winner could go in and redeem the key or game and it would begin activation on Steam.
