The games I disliked enough to say that I'd probably never try them again... There are so many x) Out of the most praised/popular ones are the Bioshock series, Binding of Isaac, Transistor, Hitman Absolution (though I never played any other games in the series. And most likely won't even try), The Stanley Parable, and Dark Souls.

I hated castle crashers only because it loses all of its "magic" after the first and maybe second play through. It goes from enjoyable story to endless grinding and it felt pointless but thats just me

Party of Sin
I thought the game would be at least decent, something interesting to play instead of Trine, but it was just awful. For starters I can't believe someone can do such an atrocious job for camera. Ok, I get sick in first person 3d games, but Party of Sin is 2d platformer and I NEVER had problems in this type of game. Party of Sin was first. I played roughtly an hour and for the rest of the day I felt really sick. I never felt so bad after any game. Pace of the camera, movement and everything about it was awful.
And then when you got more Sins in your team it just got more boring and irritating instead of original and fun. Puzzle elements were just boring and monotonous. Graphics are so so but that's not a problem and I really thought that game could be at least average good. I got awful headache instead.

Arkham Origins (which I played on 360). I already had complaints, but when it corrupted my save and I found out that was a known bug they didn't care to fix, well, that was the end.
It's a shame. I really enjoyed the first two.

The closest thing i can think of is Super Meatboy
But that's more of a love-hate relationship...

Haters gona hate, i dont judge, the last game i can remember that made me phisically angry was Need For Speed: Undercover.

Starseed Pilgrim. I thought it's a good, laid-back game about trying out how the different colours will react and grow, so it's kind of a zen game.
It's description goes like this: "Starseed Pilgrim is a game about tending a symphonic garden, exploring space, and embracing fate. You are a gardener, tending to empty noise and empty space to fill them both with colour. You are a refugee, building your own world away from the spreading darkness."
Game turned out to be about trying to something for half-1 minute with lousy explained controls then the darkness began to eat everything. Maybe the game is not that bad, but because of the misleading, "chill" description and pictures compared to the "ruuuuuuuuuuuuuun for oyur liiiiiiiife" gameplay was maybe the biggest letdown to me.
Smaller one: Scratches. I was so intrested about it. Well, crashes when I want to enter the house - about 3rd screen in a point and click. I don't hate it, just feel sorrow about this, quite a lot.
Force Unleashed: small story, lots of hacky-hacky. Loved it. But that Star Destroyer part... literally, "instructions not clear" in the final, Ultimate Sith edition. Game was quite simple but I liked it, but the state of the port and fixes.... grrrr.

ARK Survival Evolved. Played about 4 hours, and the only thing I actually enjoyed was just the general concept of exploring a (admittedly really nice looking) jungle island filled with dinosaurs. The gameplay itself was one of the least fun experiences I've had in years, unfortunately, and most of the people playing were shitbirds

As I see from the comments, it kinda drifted from games that people hate to games that was just dissapointing. I have some kind of defense mechanism for titles like that - it makes me forget games like that. Still I tried to remember some title and one game crossed my mind so I will add little something to this thread.
I'm thinking about Return to Castle Wolfenstein. When game was new my PC was to week to handle it so I played it few years later. I don't remember what exactly was I expecting but I remember that game was a huge meh for me. Please note that graphics and other things that came with age didn't bother me. I think I was expecting thrill that Wolfenstein 3D gave me when I was a little kid, also my friends was ultra hyped about it. When I finally approched the game it felt like another medicore shooter that had nothing that would make it stand off between other games I have played. Maybe I would think different about this game if I wouldn't have so big expectations, who knows.

That game is AMAZING, better than anything that came in the series after it. Also, it had incredible graphics for its time and it took A LOT of years for it to look really dated. I've seen games in 2004 and 2005 that didn't look as good.

Elder Scrolls: Oblivion
My first foray into the ES franchise. I like fantasy RPG (based on beating pretty much all of the forgotten realms based ones. Baldurs Gates, Neverwinter NIghts, Icewind Dale, etc) but I could just not get into ES:O. I didn't care about the plot, the 3rd, or 1st, person style was a major downer, and after the 3rd town in a row called me to come shut down the Oblivion gate in their town I noped my way out and have been free ever since.
On the opposite end I just started playing NFS: The Run, fully prepared to be disappointed, and I am having an absolute blast. Probably my favorite NFS since Underground 2, or at least the most memorable. (Sorry for bringing a little sunshine ;D)

Homefront
Trailers and gameplay videos hyped me that hard and in the end it was a boring multiplayer and the campaign was over after 3 hours. I was so fucking disapointed and i waster 50 € for it

Destiny
I bought it at $5 off full price from Costco. BIG MISTAKE.
Yeah I had friends playing, but they were already at level cap. I made it to level 8(?) before I quit out of utter boredom.
Having had 5 years of LOTRO under my belt, I came with a lot of expectations about MMO design and content. And also having played hundreds of hours of Borderlands 2, I came with a set of expectations about a high-action FPS. Destiny failed miserably on both counts. It only had two points in its favor: it was pretty, and the combat controls handled nicely. That's it.
No story. No interesting mobs. Bullet sponge bosses. And boring, repetitive grinding from the very start.
:P

agreed, preordered this played for awhile then got sick of the repetition of the same damn thing over and over although at least it wasn't pay to win like most mmo's i've played but seriously lacked in story.

Why deathspank, kingdoms of amalur, krater or torchlight 2? I can maybe understand deathspank if you played as the second player in local coop. Maybe I can also understand krater, which is bugged and I mostly like it because it reminds me of dungeon siege 2; but the other 2? Why? I love these games. :D

just my opinion, i can't force myself to like those :3

Diablo 3
I preordered it the day you were able to from gamestop and waited and waited thinking it was gonna be friggin awesome like diablo 2 Lod was. How wrong could i have been....you were unable to play for days after it was released, couldn't play offline, the market was broken forever it seemed like and there was less attachment for me with the whole rune system. To me that was the worst part taking away character specializing. Ended up giving it away. After the expansion was released i bought a cheap copy to play on ps3 with the gf only to find out later that it won't get updates......ps4,xb1,pc yes but why release on 360 n ps3 if your not prepared to treat it equally. So to me D3 was crap on pc on release and the expansion on ps3 i found lacking severely not to mention bugs that they won't fix such as your partner/ companion loot vanishes if you have a additional player join you.

wish i could think of it as a tribute as i did like the traps you can trigger to nail mobs and the lil tomes explaining more of the story and such. Guess it wouldn't have been so bad for me if they called it something different and if i didn't shell out the cash for the preorder of the collectors edition on pc (only to be unable to play on release) and if they would have kept the ps3 version up to date and fix bugs at least i found a substitute (Path of Exile). Of course then again i also hated WoW cuz mostly the label of warcraft when to me it was not warcraft and when they decided to add panda's i lost respect for the company at least til SC2. I remember trying to play WoW with the gf and some child kept trying to duel us when we were just learning how to even play the game sending duel invites over and over calling us names and such which was actually comical imo. They were level 50 something and i think we were 15 or something like that lol. Ever play any of the D2 mods?
