I think I haven't been really depressed, but I have periods when while I enjoy being in my flat, in my own environment, and don't really feel like going to places with people. Yet I had no problem with travelliong to one of my students and that got me thinking. I don't know if this helps as source of problems can different.
What I did a few times that I went to places where there are lots of people who don't care about me, and I can choose whom I want to talk, otherwise even amongst a lot of people, I were alone (as I wanted) - so i went to the local market. I don't cook too often but I like it, so browsing around the ingredients and the fruits, vegetables had me invested enough that I didn't care for the crowd around me. Plus being a market, purchasing something is more personal, (in most cases) they don't just throw the receipt and the goods at you :)
I don't know if something like that can help you or not. Try to find something to go for that pushes you a little out of your depression, even if you just know that you used to like it, but maybe don't want it now- like you just want to be in bed but you liked walking on the street, then rather go out - but don't overdo it, do it in a way that you can control it and stop it if it becomes too much. Like in the example if you'd like to go for a walk, don't travel an hour to go for a walk, just go somewhere around your place. Having the control and safety that you're not forced and can stop it can sooth the nerves so much that you'll enjoy something that you wouldn't of it would be overdone

Thank you. I sometimes forget other people feel like I do. Whitelisted.

I wanted another thing that just came to my mind on the tram. Force yourself to smile. When you purchase something, when you almost collide with someone and you say sorry about it. It's proven that smiling improves on one's mood, and the other smiles you can get back add more to it. Worst case scenario you're still sad-ish but with the idea that you possibly made people happier by being a nice customer or just a nice person they met :)

I know it's not easy to fight against depression but you can do it! As much hard it's, try to leave the past in the past. We can't go back in time to fix the bad things that happens to us, but we can learn from them to avoid to happen again to us or others. Each time you do something about it, it's a step in the right direction to get stronger and be helpful :)

Thank you for the ride Vampkitty69! :-)
It's unbelievable that in the 21' century there are still people that think that a no is a maybe or a yes and I'm quit sure that there's a special place in hell for sex offenders and predators.

I get what your saying , i feel like if your the person who is easily offended or the type that uses that stupid word maybe the internet isn't the place for you to interact socially. I am pretty stubborn though and dont see aNy reason to change my vocabulary to try to protect peoples feelings. I have a gay cousin who is literally the personification of everything i cant stand in a person. Not bc hes gay but bc he subscribes to every bit of the nonsense that goes viral. He gets offended at everything and gets pissed when i call something gay or i call him a fag. Ive had to explain to him thatit has nothing to do with sexual preference but instead its how lame something is. Hes constantly taking everything out of context and then trash talking whoever and then crying when that person calls him out. He thinks its hate bc hes gay. It rarely is though. Its hate on his ignorance and stupidity. I bring this up bc i feel like most of the type that think tbis way compare to him in a way. If you look for trouble you usually find it right?
