It seems I can't pass the second SgTools rule, I don't know why because I've never got any VAC bans on steam, nor I'm banned right now. What could it be?

Maybe try (on SGTools site) to click Home --> Synchronize. I know it works to resolve some issues.
If it still doesn't work, please reply in the other thread with the message that you get.

It won't help because the email may not be the one of the person who used the key. There were about 5 different addresses listed until activation. What is 100% certain, is that one of the listed users used the key.

Hey! Can confirm that I took the key (it was already visible when I visited the site). I wanted to keep it low since I might not have time to play it right away and didn't want to cause the wrong impression, especially not since we're in at least one group together. I see that backfired horribly - didn't know you had the means to track page visits :P
Anyway, thanks a lot for the game, and as stated above I am planning to play it in the near future, I did quickly check the store page before testing the key so I know the game is decent. Sorry to everyone for causing a ruckus :-)

If only it was as easy as creating regular SGTools giveaways. This type of key drop requires quite a few more steps, but it's an interesting experiment and I intend to do a few more of those. It's not a sustainable activity unfortunately.

I miss Samlii - he helped me out when one of my first SG GAs went horribly awry. But yes, I am the mother of this thing that should ostensibly make the game gifting world slightly better by increasing connections between human beings. Then Licurg promptly opened a fresh ninja key drop thread - shrugs Ninja's gotta ninja I guess and they don't give 2 f**ks who they get keys from. But they will get older and sooner or later they will need somebody to go to the grocery when they can't - just saying that none of us are immune to needing other people in our lives. Even if it's as basic as needing help to eat. So yeah, no man is an island :-p

We all like key drops, but in most cases the person (or bot) that took the key doesn't say anything, which is a bit annoying. The drops in this thread are different. Each is linked to a GA and only part of the key (typically indiegala link) is visible. To complete the key, you need to go through an SGTools filter and pick up the rest from a comment in the target GA.
Another difference is that every person who gets the key is asked to not take additional keys. This (and the type of rule I'm using) is the reason why every drop so far was taken by a different user, as you can see in the table below. In these drops, you actually have a chance, even if you're not the fastest ninja.
Since each key drop is linked to an SGTools protected giveaway, every user who tries to get the drop is registered in the list of users who got the link. This means that if you took the key, you'd better acknowledge it (I shouldn't even have to tell you this). See additional instructions in each drop.
Finally, to catch key drops, wait until the title of the thread changes to "New round!!!", then go to the last post from me. If you're not quick enough, don't give up. You'll have a better chance next time (the quickest ninjas already got their share).
