The Matrix. Already sow it when I was little but didn't really understand what it was all about. The CG stuff looks a bit outdated but the story is pretty entertaining.
BUT
dear Hollywood, what a silly jewish propagandistic whore you are...

"The Time Machine" 1960, The only time travel movie I've seen that shows if you travel into the future from, lets say 2016 to 2026, you will not meet your future self in 2026 because 10 years ago you disappeared back in 2016 in your time machine, sorry Back to the Future, you got it wrong :-)

Ex Machina. Some mind screwing with un invasive cgi. And that ending. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0470752/

We Are What We are (2013) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2309021/
Supposed to be horror. It's intense and I wanted to finish it, but wasn't scared at all.
Mediocre overall 6/10

The Monuments Men.
I give a point for using a war plot, but take it back for the whole movie being a huge "meh". More background description of the artist preservers would have made the movie better,

The Sacrament
Whats this? someone made a good found footage film, without impossible shots...and theres an actual reason characters go around with a camera!
Good to see Ty West aiming a bit higher, The House of the Devil was a good movie but a bit too generic. Even though, while this draws inspiration from a real story rather than trying to reenact, there have been other movies about Jonestown
Whats not so great about this, are the 3 main actors, though that might be Eli Roth curse, everything that raises his interest, always have unrelatable main characters or just bad acting...its even worse in his movies, where the villains are less obnoxious than the characters you are supposed to root for.
6/10
The Survivor
Did i even liked this? it's kind of weird.
I dont even know why there were ghosts, that wasn't even the twist.
It feels like a really good story for a 2 hours made for TV movie but they had to cut 30 min out
5/10
Slow West
A beautiful movie, both in cinematography and the message that it tries to pass

The Town That Dreaded Sundown (2014)
Not that it matters when it comes to slashers but this is actually a sequel to a 1976 movie
47 metascore? Cmon...this is better than it had any right to be
The original wasnt even that good or memorable, and its not that it tries to avoid its slasher roots. There is still gore and nudity and the cinematography surpassed the original.
Unless people disliked it for being yet another slightly Meta movie, which i admit is getting out of hand, they dont like the genre and decide to watch this thinking the slasher tropes wouldn't be there for some reason
There's a really funny discussion on imdb where some people seemed offended by a gay sex scene, which i found quite hilarious.

While I gave this movie the same note as you did I disagree that cinematography was even remotely good. Photography as well as editing was horrible, very chaotic and without any real direction. Acting was horrible as well, the main character was stiff as hell. Still, not a bad movie per se.
The gay scene seemed so fake and stiff though lol and when the guy asked the question about holding (?) it for a moment I thought I would fell off my chair.

I wouldn't say it was good either, but i kinda like it. It's at least better than the old movie. Especially at the beginning where there were some really good camera angles, as well as color saturation. Its a good thing the director was being creative with the material.
As for the gay scene, it can be one of 2 things:
No one knew how to write or portrait those characters.
Or...it was intentionally silly, the equivalent of the girl on girl scene, just two random dudes trying to explore their sexuality, and its supposed to be funny
or idk...its from the guy who directed Glee
Acting was horrible
You can tell the director as seen Dario Argento, the bad acting might have been intentional
The conclusion is, yeah its kind of a mess of a film, but so was the original.

Had like a month of break from watching movies but I'm back at it!
Guidance (2014) - Pretty decent drama with a hint of comedy. Nothing special though. 6/10
Batman Vs. Robin (2015) - Very good animated movie about Batman and his son. 8/10
The Freshman (1990) - Good and light comedy with crime elements starring Marlon Brando and Matthew Broderick. 7/10
Last Holiday (2006) - Very good and positive comedy about a woman who finds out she only has a few weeks left to live. Starring Queen Latifah, LL Cool J and Gerard Depardieu. 8/10
Adventureland (2009) - This movie is falsely tagged and advertised as comedy. It's plain drama with maybe 2-3 funny scenes. It's pretty good. Starring Jesse Eisenberg and Kristen Stewart. 7/10
The Good German (2006) - Good movie directed by Steven Soderbergh. It's a homage paid to movies from the 40's and 50's about war and romance during those times. It's black and white and starring George Clooney, Cate Blanchett and Tobey Maguire. 7/10

Saw Batman v Superman yesterday. I really enjoyed it. Sure it was flawed and not as good as the Marvel movies, but this movie is getting so much undeserved hate. Was a very fast 2.5 hrs. I didn't feel it drag at all.

Here we go, I'll start.
Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark (2010) - This movie is a joke. At first it's interesting, then it's boring and then it's just funny/pathetic. And they put it in a "horror" genre. Words are not sufficient. Nosferatu is turning in his grave. 3/10
