Good Kill (2014) - Good movie about moral choices (or rather lack of them) that people from military have to make. 7/10
The Polar Express (2004) - Very good cartoon about Christmas and Santa. 8/10
Rounders (1998) - Very good movie about addiction to poker. Great cast too. 8/10
The Falling (2014) - Horrible movie about nothing. Waste of time. 1/10
Bad Santa (2003) - Decent comedy but nothing really special. 6/10
Quarantine (2008) - A copy of [REC] but still a good horror movie. 7/10

Rewatched Air Doll
It's the japanese equivalent to a modern pinocchio story
Perfect movie for when you are feeling depressed.
My opinion of this movie changed a lot in 2 years, mostly because now i find it to be very relatable
It seems life is constructed in a way that no one can fulfill it alone.
Life contains its own absence, which only another can fulfill.
It seems the world is the summation of others and yet,
we neither know nor are told that we will fulfill each other.
We lead our scattered lives, perfectly unaware of each other or at times,
allowed to find the other’s presence disagreeable.
Why is it, that the world is constructed so loosely?

Amistad
Bridge of Spies
Two very different but very excellent movies. I really hope BoS wins some awards, both the cast and the film itself. If you liked Mark Rylance's performance(Ruldolf Abel) I highly recommend the miniseries Wolf Hall where he plays in/famous Thomas Cromwell, Chancellor to Henry the VIIIth

Samurai Cop
Its really funny. All things considered, a movie this badly made could get really annoying after awhile, but some of these characters are quite enjoyable.
One thing that bothers me, is that there isnt a single samurai in this movie, there's one of them with a sword and i guess that sort fo makes him a samurai, at one point he commits seppuku with a regular knife, thats about it. Dialogue indicates Matt Hannon was a samurai before being a cop, but i dont think he ever used a katana in this movie.
the acting was atrocious for the most part, awkward editing didn't help but Robert Z'Dar, Mark Frazer, Dale Cummings where pretty great in their roles, turns out the director was mostly at fault, as they give decent performances in the sequel.
Samurai Cop 2
Someone actually managed to find and bring most of the actors for the sequel and yet there are more pornstars than actors.
I have mixed feelings about this one,for one you cant really replicate Samurai Cop, and everyone was well aware of that because it tried going in a different direction.
movie goes for the artsy look, some of the dream and tv sequences, remind me of some Lynch movies.
It looks..."interesting"?, its more like, weird and confusing. The plot is incredibly convoluted and it doesn't help they clearly went over budget and started recycling sets.
As for the acting, as i stated previously, is alright for the main actors, so, to counter balance, there's a bunch of pornstars as well as Tommy Wiseau
it's interesting how bad acting is hilarious but when it comes from a porn actress its just cringe worthy and disgusting, probably because they constantly have that "i dont give a shit" face.
I also hate when it changes a song in between shots for another song, it does that alot, sometimes it tries too much to reach the "so bad its good" status, but what the hell is that, even? i dont think that happen in the original, its just annoying, same thing goes for the cgi blood, its lazy and cant even keep track with the actors
(5/10)
EDIT: Oh...also Deadpool, i just dont feel like talking about that movie, it was alright

Electra Glide In Blue (1973) - Pretty good modern western movie set in Arizona with some additional crime and drama elements. 7/10
The Talented Mr. Ripley (1999) - Amazing psychological thriller starring Matt Damon, Jude Law, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Gwyneth Paltrow and Cate Blanchett. A must watch. 9/10
Ripley's Game (2002) - It's hard to say it's a sequel as the only thing that remained from the previous movie is the name Ripley. This one has different setting, different characters and different genre. It has good cast (Malkovich, Ray Winstone and Lena Headey) but it falls short from the first movie in almost every aspect. The only thing that's better here is music which is amazing. While a lot more simple and shallow than the first one it's still a pretty good movie, don't have high expectations though. 7/10
Antiviral (2012) - Pretty boring mixture of sf, thriller and drama. The idea was pretty good but the execution is just not great at all. 4/10
The Woman In Black 2: Angel Of Death (2014) - Horrible horror movie that tried to lure people in with the name. The first Woman in Black movie was very good and interesting but this one is bland, boring, uninteresting and it is shot in a very poor way (half the time you don't even see what's going on because lightning is horrible). Amateur hour, waste of time. 2/10
Superman Returns (2006) - While not nearly as good as Man of Steel this one is still a good superhero movie. It could have been shorter though. 7/10

heartwarming story, very unlike Sion Sono to make a movie like this.
Its decent, not many movies take the subject of death without either being unrealistically positive where every thing turns out great or overly dramatic.
I still prefer the usual fast pacing and and the excess, but this at least gives you something to think about

Creed
Really good, but in a way i feel if i wasnt a big fan of Rocky i would be pissed that even without his name, Stallone still steals the show.
Not to say that Michael B. Jordan wasnt good in his role, turns out he is a good actor, he was just unlucky to be casted for Fantastic 4, its just that Rocky still takes a major arc in this movie
To anyone that didnt like Rocky, this movie wont change their minds. Its a bit formulaic and cheesy and thats just how these movies are

Finally saw Star Wars episode 7. It was cool, but with so many throwbacks to the original trilogy that it got too predictable in places. Still sets up a number of plot points that can push episode 8 and 9 into their own direction though, especially with the question how the new Sith Lord wannabe will evolve.

Star Wars Episode VII. I stood in line for hours during the opening week of Episode IV, and I remember "the craze" well. Took my nieces to see the reboot, and the entire time I was thinking to myself, ...

Ended up being some kind of remake of A New Hope but it left me wanting for more. More Poe/Dameron shenanigans and more Luke Skywalker. :D

Deadpool - 9/10.
Such a good film, I feel that the comedy is so well done. The film feels worthy to have Deadpool in, unlike a certain other film....
Only problem I had was that the relationship plot sort of took away from a lot of what we wanted, but hey, Deadpool 2 :P

Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F, for the second time.
Not much in the way of story but the animation was great and it brought back my favorite Dragon Ball Z villain :) Still can't get used to that cel-shaded CGI, though ...

Straight Outta Compton
Good movie that seems to have passed under the radar for most people, wasn't even included in the Oscars this year. It's understandable, West Coast Hip Hop isn't my cup of tea either.
they did a good job though, knowing the background has made me appreciate these songs a lot more, N.W.A in particular.
I still dont give a crap about Ice Cube.
Here's a fun fact, Ice Cube´s son is called OMG, thats a bit silly, right?

Hot tub machine
It wasnt bad, both writting And comedy wise, i still didnt much cared for it
I felt the movie didnt had an identity of its own, it felt like a mix between family guy And american dad. In fact i think American dad has a very similar episode
For some reason theres some references to the movie 16 candles, i didnt even know that was a famous movie

Here we go, I'll start.
Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark (2010) - This movie is a joke. At first it's interesting, then it's boring and then it's just funny/pathetic. And they put it in a "horror" genre. Words are not sufficient. Nosferatu is turning in his grave. 3/10
