Leatherface - 2017 -- Completely forgettable film, and a waste of time.
Killing Gunther -- nothing special, but at least mildly entertaining as slapstick comedy goes.

Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) - I was against the new Spider-man movies, but this one was decent, really enjoyed watching it.

Death Note - Hmm... could have been worse I guess? lol. I did like Willem Dafoe as Ryuk, nice job on that one.
Inside Out - A little late but I was saving it for a rainy day. A wonderful movie. Pixar should be proud.
Get Out - This sequel to Inside Out took a weird turn. Just kidding, pretty good movie I gotta say.

Funnily enough I also watched Inside Out and Get Out recently. The first sunken place scene really tripped me out

I know the original Alien franchise and I did not compare this movie to the original ones.
But compared to all the trash people consider good, this movie was pretty neat. CGI that's worth looking at, unlike any Marvel movie that looks like "pure shit" as you like to call it.

I have seen many banana republic, dictator movies covering multiple central and south american countries but this one is amongst the most moving and classic ones I've seen, to date.

Yes, I have, because not only do I like Costa-Gavras movies but also Yves Montand is one of my favorite French actors.
I like to recommend a movie by another of my favorite French actors, Jean-Paul Belmondo, Le Professionnel.
Later today I'll be watching Under Fire.

Favorite of mine too and so is Belmondo. I think that I watched Le Professionel years ago, but I honestly can't remember. Which means it's worth a revisit. I'm a big fan of Audiard and Lautner as well - so I can't go wrong, can I ? :D
I do remember liking Under Fire quite a lot. Another one in the same vein that's good is Salvador.
Also in the vein of gritty, Latin American thrillers, I recently saw Sorcerer which is basically a retelling of The Wages of Fear - and very good one.

No you can't. ;-)
I have Salvador in my movie collection but it's a while since the last time I've watched it but I know it's a realistic movie with a good cast.
My last latin american movie I bought is Tropa de Elite 2. I've seen the first one and that one was really OK and I have high hopes for this second installment.

Thank you very much for making me aware of this movie as I'm Jewish.
The best movie to date I have seen about the raid on Entebbe is Raid on Entebbe with Charles Bronson and a good supporting cast.
During this raid (a hostage liberation action 4000 km away from Israel) Yoni Netanyahu was killed in action, the brother of our Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu.

A Ghost Story - It's really weird at first but god damn if it isn't beautifully shot. I didn't really connect with it ultimately but it's still a very good film, totally recommend. 7/10
mother! - this one's kinda controversial. I really didn't enjoy my experience at the cinema but I think that's the point. It's a challenging movie that tries to push it's audience away but kinda gets you thinking after (if you actually look into the story a bit). It definitely stayed with me. 7.5/10

Les Quatre Charlots mousquetaires
A very nice and pleasant comedy with an adventure twist.

Good acting, plot and musical score. I watched the remastered black and white version.

Prison
Horror, One of the first Renny Harlin movies, wayyyy before the trash that followed Cutthroat Island.
As per usual, it's simple, a haunted Prison instead of a house. Groundbreaking shit right there. Still...Works decently enough. it's a better location, especially due to its delipidated state, there is some eeriness to the place. It has Great actors, Viggo Mortensen in fact
It's a well executed movie, but very thin in terms of plot and characters. Not particularly interesting to watch.
5/10
-Its contraband
-oh yeah...what isnt?
-your asshole!
The Rift
Another underwater movie exploiting the popularity of James Cameron The Abyss (not an incredible movie to be honest). Except, The Rift, DeepStar Six, Leviathan...(list goes on), take a Slasher horror "Alien" route. Deep underwater locations are terrifying due to the fear of the unknown, and how unprotected and out of their element humans are, it doesnt require a quality movie.
there isn't much to talk in terms of plot. See that Futurama episode, where the new crew is tasked to get royal honey, from the same location the similar old crew perished.
But there is something going on here, because the cast is quite strong. Twin Peaks Ray Wise, Full Metal Jacket R. Lee Ermey, and ofcourse who could forget the actor of the Amazing series Tequila and bonneti. (Ground breaking gritty show, of a cop, mentaly scarred for having acidentily shot a 12yo, now coming back to the job, to catch cocaine dealers, pedophiles, and all sorts of criminals, with the help of his talking black dog partner named Tequilla.)
6/10

Blade Runner 2049
highly recommended.
Though, fuck them for trying to over explain this shit. For fuck sake wouldn't Villeneuve be able to sleep at night, if you took longer to figure out the plot twist?
I really hope to get a directors cut in the future with certain scenes removed.
Between 8/10-9/10

Here we go, I'll start.
Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark (2010) - This movie is a joke. At first it's interesting, then it's boring and then it's just funny/pathetic. And they put it in a "horror" genre. Words are not sufficient. Nosferatu is turning in his grave. 3/10
