Here we go, I'll start.

Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark (2010) - This movie is a joke. At first it's interesting, then it's boring and then it's just funny/pathetic. And they put it in a "horror" genre. Words are not sufficient. Nosferatu is turning in his grave. 3/10

Lake Mungo
Twin Peaks the documentary. Interviewing the people that live in this small town, some years after the disappearance of Alice Palmer, not Laura Palmer. Fits within modern horror, with movies like Paranormal activity but good...or decent at least.
It's not that great, by making it a Mockumentary, they really go for the typical straightforward clean documentary.
where, you don't have time to appreciate a certain shot, same goes with found footage, where everything of importance is pointed out to the viewer, which c'mon! there are fake ghosts shows that do exaclty the same. and of course because its modern horror there's music and fake sound effects that go with the found footage sections. Thankfully no jump scares.
6/10
Slaughterhouse
I've seen so many of these Hixploitation trash Texas Chainsaw influenced movies, it lost its appeal.
Still there are some noticeable differences in tone, dark humor. The other difference is instead of trash hillbilly interiors, we have a lot of meat, as the title would suggest. The more gruesome parts occur inside a inactive slaughterhouse.
and they are proud of that change, they really want to show that to every vegan. It literally just starts with actual footage of pigs being slaughtered.

Laid to Rest
Not only trash slashers are still a thing, Laid to Rest alone already has 2 sequels.
I'm impressed with this low budget movie when it comes to its gore and practical effects. Not so much when it comes to the use of their slasher villain, seem like they missed a lot of opportunities, not to look "Friday the 13" ridiculous, and so far that was a bad decision.
thats a big issue i have with it, it certainly goes with a more serious tone. If he wanted to commit with that than obviously the lead is a considerably worse actress than the rest of the cast. Why did he choose her then? well, because she was his girlfirend ofcourse!
5/10
Eden Lake
I thought this was really good and well constructed, it builds itself for that ending, but its is a more realistic one.
Jenny is a sweet angel of a girl, that works in a nursery. She goes on an Outdoor Vacation with her boyfriend. We quickly realize that he is that type of douche that has to prove his masculinity, above all else, even above his girlfriend´s well being.
To the point he seeks the trouble himself, like a regular Charles Bronson. With that the Horror begins. We see every characters progression, in a realistic way. It's a movie that doesn't justify or condemn killing. That's not to say that the characters dont have to face themselves, or that there are no victims on either side, perpetrator included.

Si te gusto y puedes apoyar la secuela, hazlo. Le ha ido mal en taquilla y es una lastima que algo tan bueno probablemente no recupere ni el costo.

I rarely watch movies, but the last time I checked the TV.
There was that movie already running Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, which should be taking place in Egypt.
The way they showed Egypt gave me cancer, that I quitted mid movie.
There is no reason to watch a movie if you can play a walking simulator.

I liked very much the movie, the true was especially the changes of plane and photography, only I don't like was the action scenes that are too fast, but the rest was very good and the script also. 9 / 10

My Little Pony: The Movie
'Twas okay. I liked it, but I'm a brony and animation enthusiast. Obviously, if you are a brony, it's a must watch. As a cartoon movie, it doesn't really measure up to recent Disney/Pixar movies like Frozen or Moana, but isn't a bad watch if you like Disneyesque movies. If your curious about My Little Pony, it's probably not the best piece to form an opinion of the show by, but why not give it a shot anyway, if you think it's okay give the show a shot.
As always, the entire movie would have been solved as soon as it began if anyone was smart enough to call on Discord. Then again, using your deus ex machina every time things go bad would make the show short and repetitive.

Tempest is amazing yeah. I hope she plays a role in the actual show (and Princess Skystar, but she was very overshadowed by Fizzlepop). She's a gold mine for world lore and adventures (plus actual combat), so a show spin-off series would be awesome too.

(i did not see this comment until today whoops!) YES I would love that, but Emily Blunt and Kristin Chenoweth are both super famous actors and IDK if they would want to film in tv show, it might have to be different voices if they came on the show :( I want a Tempest plushie~

Blade Runner — no, not the new one. it was a special cinema screening and was dope.
The Invitation — was pretty decent. I like books and movies about cults; something spooky about them.

Far from the original, but it aint that bad either.

Kuffs was another one. Its an old movie, around the early-mid 90's. Quite fun to be honest.

Cropsey
I don't get it. Cropsey is a crime documentary that could just be a multitude of other similar cases.
The name Cropsey is used as an urban legend, after several years of unsolved missing cases. it's rather pointless. you will learn nothing out of this. it's just a series of various connected unsolved cases in order to provoke the viewer. you can either expand on this, or share various stories that create urban legends.
3/10
Demonoid: Messenger of Death
I was fooled by this great poster. yikes, this is really bad!
A mexican mine is said to be curse by the workers, who have grown weary and refuse coming back after discovering a skeleton.
The couple and owners of the mine, go deep into the mine, alone, to prove the workers it's all superstitious.only to become cursed themselves, by the hand of the devil.

I saw "The Forest"... for the second time :D I saw it in streaming, then they started showing it here in Italy and I saw it again. I didn't disliked it, really, but it's nothing great. I watched it just for Natalie Dormer.

Demon
I wish i had liked it, knowing the director ended taking is life during a festival, clearly on top of other problems, he did put work on it and expected more from this.
A groom is possessed by dybbuk the day before his wedding. The spirit´s slow gradual manifestation was what kept me watching, as a horror fan. For everything else, because this is sort of a black comedy as well, i would just say its not to my taste.
I went and check what the hell a dybbuk is: Turns out its Jewish Folklore...on a polish movie?

  • malicious possessing spirit believed to be the dislocated soul of a dead person. It supposedly leaves the host body once it has accomplished its goal.

Raw
The brutal initiation to college brings a darker new side to one otherwise naive student.
There has been a lot weird criticism to this one. Feminist agenda, vegan propaganda... people passed out, and vomited! for FUCK SAKE, what an age we are living in. Worst critic of all, I doesn't make sense.
i beg to differ It does make sense, interpretation differs from viewer to viewer. but in general, its a Coming of Age film.
sort of an awakening to one's own sexuality, The cannibalism perhaps a bit forced, but that's a huge part of the film, visually speaking.
Its in the fucking title, one connection between flesh and emotions, an uncontrollable desire...RAW!
