The funniest reason you was kicked/banned from an group/game/forum.

Back in the early 2000s I was in the G4TV OT Forum and I spend nearly all of my internet time there. I felt I was spending so much time there that I needed to be forced to take a break. So I posted porn and got suspended immediately.

Note: This was before you could post porn in that forum.

I got banned from a discord server for telling someone to stop minimodding the hell out of every single person

A friend was showing me Garry's Mod.
We were playing the game where you're a terrorist or not, whatever the title.
And frankly it was super boring to me, it wasn't clear what we had to do, and no matter if we won or lost, it was just not fun.
So at the beginning of a round, as we were all gathering on the roof to protect from terrorists, I aimed around, and had the brilliant idea to shoot one of my teammates in the head.
Insta-ban from the server.
I never played G Mod again xD

Alex Austin the developer of "Sub Rosa" blocked me on Twitter. He posted that Steam finally had some good discounts (a while ago) and I replied to him saying that his game "Gish" was not on sale for over a year (not even that time) and I also told him I bought the game on G2A so yeah...
Guess I had It coming.

Got kicked lots of times on several Killing Floor servers because i used to enter Hell on Earth games with low level perks, even though levels mean jack shit without experience and i had over 800 hours of gameplay at the time (I used to reset perk progression just because).

Also i got banned in a forum for saying that Fallout 4 was bad under the reasoning of "toxic behaviour".

And i got suspended here because i had non activated games on my account (with a 4 year delay, no less). I don't know how it is possible because of course i activate everything before releasing feedback, i suspect that those two games got removed from my account sometime after the giveaway. I just decided to spend a couple of bucks to get the keys and remain in good standing rather than contacting people about a years old giveaway (one of which wasn't even active anymore).

a mod in steamgifts banned me because I didn't sold him steam key at his asking price, he was very demanding and when I refuse to sell the key to him he got me banned here.

As a kid (maybe about 12 years old) I used to play good old Freelancer online. I regularly played on a server and for some reason I changed my nickname a few times. But only minor changes like Nickname, N1ckn4me, Nickname42 and so on. One day, I thought it would be cool to add a swort to my name, it kinda looked like this: "Nickname oxxx(=======>". Aparently, the admin thought it was a penis and kicked/banned me from the server. I had a nice little chat with the admin and asked what was wrong. He was like "You know what's wrong with your name" and I had no idea. I had to remove the sword, then everything was okay. It took me a few years until I realized what the admin meant :D

I once threw a bad grenade and blew up my own base on accident in Tremulous, getting banned from the server for a while. It was entirely accidental, but everyone thought I was trolling. Nah, I just sucked. T_T

The group was full of edgey kids I suppose but I once got kicked because they wanted to keep their member number at 666 despite being a public group. XD

I was kicked out of a group for being rude and xenophobic to people from other countries than mine. That's why I opened a thread on SG to complain. I even stated on my Steam profile that I accept friend invites only if you are from my own country. But it seems people didn't like it, so I had to edit my profile, now I'm just rude and hide my xenophobia.

Hopefully with time, I will grow up to understand that this way of thinking hurts me more than them because it prevents me from participating in other communities and alienates me from other people's culture and perspective.

Im kicked from Steamgifts chatroom because I trolled thejadefalcon

I got banned from a Croatian LEGO forum cause I posed as a mother of an autistic child that was undergoing the expensive experimental dolphin therapy so I was forced to sell my old & precious LEGO sets for dolphin swimming lessons for my kid. Eventually, they saw through my disguise.

I really had too much time on my hands.....

I got kicked withouth reason, no explanation, just got kicked :( , is sad that they dont even bother on contacting you.

I got kicked from a Steam group because I shared the story of the nazi pug guy getting convicted on a Discord server. Didn't even share my opinion on it. ¯\(ツ)/¯ The group rules say they don't allow intolerance/bigotry, so I guess somehow me sharing the story was interpreted as that.

I'm lucky with silly bans, but lots of it hard to translate(for example I was banned for "yep". It sounds like swear word on russian. For some people =_=).
Once I was banned permanently on big russian gaming forum for accusation that I'm fake profile of another moderator(yeah. Ban of 2 moderators in a row, because I was moderator too), we had same IP. Of course we had same IP, this "another moderator" is my girlfriend and we had just moved in together. Admins overturned it in a day, but anyway.

ESO guild leader messages me "You can sell stuff on the guild store now" me: "okay" goes to banker to sell on store. Selling is not enabled gets kicked from guild for not selling anything. lol

Got banned from game discussion for asking why the store page listed trading cards yet the game didn't actually have any.

What is funny for me, is the fact that they ban hackers on GTA V....a game that promotes hacking and all other kinds of nefarious activities.

Talking about GTA V, my friend bought the game last month. He got banned a few days later, for a year, when/because an update was rolled out. They reversed the ban, a few days later.

I've gotten kicked out of a Battlefield 2 team because they realized I was a girl. Ah, the beauty of the early 2000s... :D

I've gotten kicked from a hentai discord channel for calling one of the mods a furry (which he was,i had proof :D).
