Seriously! They totally slacked toward the end and had to sweat a little longer for it.

I have to say this was one of the best finals ever, first, Argentina dominated the match by leaving Mbappé without a mark, but playing to the other side, so, the best player in France didn't even touch the ball at all until the last 10 minutes. It seems the departure of Di María really hurt Argentina's offense, Acuña played really passive and the rest of the team was starting to show fatigue. They made a fault and Mbappé capitalized and with their confidence gone, he managed to score a second goal in under a minute, this man is going to be huge, so long as he doesn't follow Ronaldinho's footsteps.

Messi scored a desperate goal on the first extra time, I don't know how, but Mbappé scored a third goal in the last minutes as well, love it or hate it, he literally carried France in the entire match. I am more happy that france lost. The word Schadenfreude describes it perfectly. The french team is so full of themselves. Their ego is bigger than their already good talent. Hope they get humbled but i doubt it. Congrats to Argentinia.
