I have a few physical games on my library (Bioshock 2, AC 1 and Brotherhood, Dead Space and RE4, i dont enter those Giveaways so dont worry).
My question here for all of you is : Do you still buy physical games ? After getting to know Steam, i rarely buy a physical game since they are kinda expensive where i live (Mexico, IE: Halo 2 PC still 50 dollars).
So, what do you say ? Still getting old disc and shiny manuals and case ?

I don't play much on consoles anymore, so I don't really have the need to go and look in dozens of stores for days, because the guys working there are totally incompetent, or the game is sold out.
Only console I'm still planning to buying games for, is the N(3)DS.
Last physical game, I bought was an MMO, out of practical reasons, because I only have a 6k downstream, but also because of aesthetics (box, OST, etc.).
But I don't think, that counts as a physical buy, either, because I ordered it on Amazon.

Next thing you're going to ask is if i live in a cave. Seriously, i don't buy physical copies of anything, i went digital long ago with my music and movies and with the next generation of consoles selling every released game in digital form, plus steam selling every indie and AAA tittle digitally, there's no reason to buy a physical disc. Also as you said (i'm from Mexico too) things here are overpriced, so digital or pirate are the actual real choices.

I usually do.
I love the manual that comes with it.
I am also much of a console gamer so ... Yes, I buy discs on consoles too. Much better than the downloading.

Manual? Most games bring it on pdf and only a poor installation guide plus micro guide of the GUI on paper.

PDF is cool and all, but physical is still cool.
Such as GTA gives you a cool map etc.

I meant physical games bring pdf manual, no more physical manual (most publishers). Love FX Interactive.

Sometimes physical games are cheaper than digital games funny enough so in those cases I buy them in physical form.

Yep.

If I like a non-physical game I try to get the physical version the sooner the better.

Only if it's cheaper (it happens in Hungary), I want it badly and I have the money. Now usually I don't have any for games...

No, it's a waste of time and money.
I can get most games for cheaper on Steam or Origin. It also takes a lot more time for me to go to the nearest shopping center and find the game. Some games aren't even available in those shopping centers. It's just faster, easier and cheaper to use a digital distribution system.

I have stopped playing on my consoles and I'm sure that I won't buy a PS4 or Xbox One unless they get some amazing exclusives.

just about the only thing I don't do digital is food =) my game collection is a holy terror its grown so large, I love knowing it's all still technically there. I'd of thrown it half away by now if I had to deal with it the old box and disc way.

Those are very cheap and easy to replace (assuming desktop and not a laptop), and I would be happy to walk you through the process if you need help.

I prefer physical games for everything, even if it is just a Steam key in a box. Something about game boxes just makes it feel like you own the licence more.

I just enjoy the physical copies :) and they are no more (usually less)than on the steam store. Also some collector's editions are still pretty sweet.

If it's the game I really like/want I'd go for physical copy, yet I don't have that many box copies (actually 10 or so). Other games that I'd like to play, but don't want immediately, I usually get at sales. But the feeling that you own more than just game, something you can touch, the box and sometimes even special editions, is always nice. :) Perfect is, when you get boxed copy and it includes Steam/Origin/etc key.
