There a few games out there that have the ability to reduce grown men to tears and I want to hear which ones have done this to you. They can be very sad games or very scary. For me certain moments in half life defiantly hit me where it hurt. Especially ravenholm and the last scene in episode two. What games did this to you.

The Walking Dead has made me tear up. A couple of "Oh shit!" moments that were emotional.

For movies in no particular order: The Lives of Others, Bridge to Terabithia, A Beautiful Mind, Schindler's List, Requiem for a Dream, Shawshank Redemption. That's just off the top of my head, probably others too.

Didn't cry, but I was definitely upset at the end of Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. Also at the end of Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

Klonoa: Door to Phantomile. It's heart-breaking at its finest, at least TWO times in the story.

Other case in another media that almost made me cry too was the music at the ending of Megami Kouhosei (Candidate for Goddess) anime. That music (Kagayaki - Shimmering) is really touching, specially at the moment it's played. Just hearing that music makes anyone sob.

And still talking about anime... Fullmetal Alchemist (the first one), the Nina's episode, at the beginning of series (episode 7). It happens again at the reboot (episode 5) but I haven't watch it. Anyways, her story is really sad.

Red Dead Redemption, Final Fantasy VII + Crisis Core, MGS3 are the only ones that come to mind. Assassin's Creed Revelations, Baldur's Gate Throne of Bhaal, Legacy of Kain Defiance nearly got me close just due to being immersed in those games for so long, and then its over for those characters that you invested a lot of time with. Tali died in my first suicide run of Mass Effect 2, but I reloaded that save and chose more wisely. Mass Effect 3 could of been so close, but I only recall the rage anymore.

Mass Effect 3 made me cry, when Amiral Hackett is talking to the whole fleet, I also think when i killed the Archdemon in Dragon Age Origins and the credits rolled. Not sure if it was crying more that it made me really emotional

L.A. Noir, while I haven't really played it, I watched an LP of it and the ending made me cry... it's not fair! At least let the player have SOME way of saving their player characters, even if it's hard as hell.

Modern Warfare 3 brought me close to tears. The compelling storyline brought together in a wonderful~

Actually, I realized that I spend 60 dollars on a rather mediocre game that, after a few months, did nothing but make me angry. I couldn't play one sitting without being frustrated at one thing or another. Be it the ever dreaded lag compensation or that chode who isn't hiding his aimbot use at all.

TL;DL
Bad game makes me pity myself.
