One order confirmation email at 23:59 BST & one at 02:57 BST
The first email mentions the monthly subscription, the second one does not
Interestingly both are at the same price 2.99 €, which is what I would expect to pay in the UK with 20% VAT for the monthly subscription. A one off payment should be 2.99 € + VAT
However the breakdown on the 23:59 email is:
Payment method: Paypal One-click 1.79 €
VAT 20% 1.20 €
Grand Total: 2.99 €
So the grand total is correct but the payment should be
Payment method: Paypal One-click 2.49 €
VAT 20% 0.50 €
Grand Total: 2.99 €
There is no breakdown on the 02:57 email
Each email has a separate order number which matches up on the orders I see in my GTA account
EDIT: At 13:45 I received a second confirmatory email for my second order, this time formatted like the confirmatory email for the first order
I've not accessed the keys yet as don't want to end up using the set they revoke when they sort out the double charging ..
However, checking my Paypal emails I see two, each with a charge of €3.34 EUR
All very confusing ..
I have created a ticket with the details in so let's see how they handle it :)

Open up a payment dispute on Paypal's website through their customer protection, immediately. This way, if G2A doesn't respond to your claim, you can get your money back anyway.

Hey Shandyandy I understood what happened by contacting PP. The problem is that what we subscribed last month is not what we pay. If you go in the details of your PP account you will see (did you pay with PP?).
My case is: I paid €1.82 for the last month deal. The truth is that I subscribed for €13.14 (discovered in the PP details of the transaction). Then today I got charged 4 times (!!!) of €2.83 receiving 4 times the same keys :((((
At the end 1.82 + 4*2.83 = €13.14 .... Dont know what to do. I dont want that keys 4 times!!!

uhm that's what I believed. I dont know in english but if you paid with PP you should go in the section of the automatic payments. click on g2a deals subscription and you will see the total amount of the first transaction that for me has been charged now

Yeah, I now see that the best way to manage this is:
Subscribe to the bundle, then after you receive your keys...

Leave your G2A subscription active on the G2A site.
When the next bundle rolls around and you decide you want the games...

Basically, the idea is to remain subscribed in the G2A system so that you get any bonuses or benefits from being a continuous subscriber, but you prevent any glitched charges by removing the dangerous pre-auth with Paypal, which as you can see above, basically gives them carte blanche to charge anything they want at any time, with no recourse via Paypal, because the agreement is basically a form of endemnity for the merchant.

Actually PayPal is not above the law and depending on your location and the laws that are governing any such transactions you might be already covered against such abusive practices.
That being said, I think G2A will reimburse those affected by this bug. I received a reply from them moments ago stating they are gathering transactions that were extra charged. Usually this is the standard procedure for a bulk refund. We shall see, I guess :).

Yes, they are not above the law, but the point is, Paypal will not be helping you with any disputes, because the billing agreement is a de jure authorization for any future payments, even mistaken ones. To get help if there's an impass, you'll have to seek it outside of Paypal.

G2A tries to become a legit seller, they said. Well, time to make use of PayPal customer protection, cancel my G2A account afterwards and block them on Paypal.
@ShandyAndy: Those are PayPal fees. OP did not mention those in his post, however, they are mentioned on the G2A deals website.

guys I got scammed by this G2A Deals.
This night I received multiple transaction (4!!!) of the same amount receiving 4 times the same keys! I didnt request them. I contacted PP and they told me that when I activated the first g2a deals payment I didnt pay 1.82 euros but a total of 13.14 euros!!! and you have to notice this because this is not mentioned by g2a.
AT the end, G2a let me pay this total amount today by letting me buy 4 times these games for a total of 4x2.83 + the previous 1.82. I deactivated the subscription immediately and I will open a ticket from the g2a side!!!

Ffs, was charged twice because I had one deactive payment for G2A Deal that I never finished paying for and one completed and paid order. Now they charged me twice for no reason. And I still haven't received Planar Conquest. And for chargeback they told me to wait for one week, wtf?
They are the most incompetent bundle site ever. Can't even charge me right.

I know that a lot of people don't like G2A here, I myself have a mixed feelings about them. However, I'm a bit shocked that people are jumping to conclusions so fast.
Errors do happen and they do happen to everyone. I think that they are going through hell at the moment in order to handle this situation. While I agree that the situation is unacceptable, I also do think that they will solve this. Imagine if you had thousands of angry customers bombarding your company and on Friday :D
Don't crucify me, but we are talking about less than 5 "moneys" here. In some cases a bit more. I really doubt that they would do something as stupid as this on purpose, they would destroy their fragile reputation completely.
A little bit more patience and understanding is all that is needed here.
I bet if this would have happened with humble bundle, everyone would be chill.
And in the end, even if I get 2 bundles, no the end of the world, more to give away :)

I'm not defending G2A by any means. I personally haven't had any problems with them, although I have bought something from then once or twice. But I also do believe that this situation will be solved, a lot is on stake for them here.

You need to realize that there will be many people who won't apply for a chargeback because they don't realize that they have been charged twice or because they don't want to go through the (inconvenient) process in order to get a few dollars/euros back.
I am not so sure if G2A is going to charge back the incorrect orders to these people.
If they don't refund everyone automatically, they will have made quite a lump of cash due to this "mistake", no matter how many chargebacks they will have to take care of.
Given their shady past, I am not so sure, that we can trust them in this regard.

I would still prefer to think that this happened by mistake, since they have been trying to "polish" their image lately. If this is on purpose then I will specifically charge back everything I can from them.
I haven't read to much about G2A shady dealings, except that its considered a gray market, what are the shadiest things they have done?

Personally I'd bet most wouldn't but I agree Humble have a decent reputation to back them up, G2A don't which makes people more hostile to them. You have to earn respect and G2A are failing to do that, which is a real shame as I think both bundles have been great.
At least they have acknowledged the issue and say they are dealing with it. I'll give them my final judgement when the mess has been cleared up.

I actually did enjoy their bundle as well and knowing that it really is in cooperation with the developers puts my heart at ease (I have read feedback from actual developers). I really like the fact that you get bonuses if you stay subscribed. And this months bonus game will be one which I will definitely enjoy. :)
I just got refunded for one of the orders, so I guess they aren't out to scam everyone. I'm actually a bit surprised it happened this fast, I can only image the clusterf*&k.

Well i unsubbed on both G2a and paypal. Only to log in this morning to find the shady bas....... tried to uncancel my cancel of the sub ( i have 3 rejected on my deal page).
Brought a one off purchase only for g2a to try to recreate a subscription on my paypal. nope, nope with a side of nope.... nice try.

People, don't panic. It's just a mistake on G2A side. They've just started this feature so I'm not even surprised they could make a mistake or they haven't been prepared for everything. I'm sure they'll resolve your problems, just write a ticket and be patient. They have probably like hundreds of thousands people sending tickets right now + they have to resolve the issue with third-party player like Pay-Pal too I guess.Okay you can start to panic now xD Such a mess.
