Arc System Works has some good deals on a lot of their older fighters (both their own and some others they've published) - 66% or better on older BlazBlue titles, 67-80% off anything Guilty Gear related, a record 80% off on Melty Blood and the older version of Under Night In Birth, 80% off Arcana Heart 3 (although I think that was low-tier Humble Bundle fodder sometime in the last year or so), and 75% off Chaos Code.
If you want something a bit more Halloween themed (and since I can't make a post without talking about VNs), The House in Fata Morgana is tied for its record-low $12.49, and if you enjoyed that, A Requiem for Innocence is under $10 with its first real sale since release.
Wish someone'd buy some of the foil cards I've got listed so I could actually buy any of it.

you know that games you know they exist, you see them all the time on the store, friends playing but you had no idea they were so good?
that's this series for me. got really hyped actually watching gameplay yesterday, but for me it was just some generic game. oh boy was I wrong.

Defunct is okay. It has some charm, and tries a unique mechanic with how you move, but I wouldn't say to anyone, "Hey, have you tried Defunct?" It's not bad, just a little bland.
BattleBlock Theater was neat, if frustrating at times, for me. I liked the humor; I managed to get all the achievements except the ones that require you to play co-op through the story mode (you really need to play couch-co-op for that). They try to push it as a multiplayer game, but the lag and lack of people to play with hurt it a lot. Story Mode can be frustratingly difficult, but I'm not exactly a wiz at games in general. Collecting all the prisoners takes literally months, because there are special ones that are only released on a weekly basis. So if you know you like challenging platformers, the humor, and collecting stuff, I'd say go for it.

Interesting. Defunct was not a priority but the price is quite good so I thought it would be worth a try.
BattleBlock at the other hand, I'm not sure why I haven't got it earlier. I know the devs are super talented and I had loads of fun with Castle Crashers local coop.
Thanks a lot for the input, will be watching some Defunct gameplay to make a better decision. It's cheap but there might be other priorities at the store ATM. :)

Check some substantial gameplay for Deadbolt, it is way straightforward and kinda hard in the not so much fun way (land 3-4 headshots in a second or get riddled with bullets kinda)
Aquatic Adventure is a boss-rush game, but pretty good for it, no problem with it for $1.
Not sure about Camp sunshine but it's supercheap, maybe I'll check it out better / again too.
Sadly (for me) Wand Wars seems to be local multi only, but looks fun!
Maybe I should buy the room games eventually.

Thank you for your input. Maybe I got interested in Deadbolt because I've found it similar to Door Kickers: Action Squad, and I'm loving this game.
And I didn't knew about Wand Wars, that's a bummer. Gameplay looks fun but I wonder if it will be at single player as well.

I picked up Melty Blood, Under Night In-Birth, and CHAOS CODE, because somehow all three of those were pretty cheap and I've had my eye on them for a long time. I also grabbed three DLCs on sale that I wanted. If I get anything else, it'll probably be other DLCs that are unlikely to be bundled, but we'll see! =)

Well, Don't Starve Together is the co-op version of Don't Starve, so if you don't already have a friend with a copy of DST, giving your spare copy away could be potentially awkward. I recall that it's apparently possible to get a decent single player experience out of DST by modding in single player difficulty scaling, but it's my understanding that Don't Starve (after DLCs) is somewhat better suited for single player [and, it's been a while and I didn't get too far in either game, but I recall getting that impression myself].
Of course, if you've already got a friend with a copy, you're set! Otherwise, it may be worth considering Don't Starve instead (DS's base game's sale price is about 2/3rds the price of DST, and similarly priced after DLCs are totaled in.)
