Cheating is in no way, shape, or form a "got it" any. Ever since the very first time I've started guessing/answering on the games questioned/posted in this thread, I personally didn't cheat with "resorting to using" goolag/tineye/whatever else "image-searching" engines out there, not even once. If I got the game correctly right away, it meant in 100% of cases that I actually played it in the past/previously, or that I'm playing through it right now, as I'm always using solely only my personal accumulated knowledge and experience when I'm looking at those provided screenshots of others'. Like with the recent example with "Guy Savage", as it's nearly impossible to know about that if you haven't actually played through VANILLA PS 2 release of Snake Eater (because "Guy Savage" was NOT included in any of those garbage pseudo-"""remasters""", so it's ONLY on PS 2). Literally every single time anyone resorts to "image search" in this thread instead of honestly tapping into their memories or trying to guess randomly on a whim, is cheating.

Do I think that's less fun? Sure. But it's within the rules and CelestialFrog was lucky enough to see the initial screenshot I posted that was googlable and they answered with the correct game, so that's really all that matters at this point.

I didn't "go off" on you in particular, so don't take it personally. I was expressing my disdain of that whole thing in overall, because it's 9001% lame and just plain sad to see when anyone does that, to cheat so much with such a simple concept as "trying to guess a video game by a provided image/art/screenshot", and I've seen a lot of cases of such (rather arrogant, sometimes) cheating in here recently. It just saddens me deeply as a truly sophisticated gamer with genuine experience and knowledge, is all. And I honestly and very strongly believe that such "rules" are BS, because it's obvious to anyone that it is cheating. I don't abide by that crap.

As you can see, it searches based on text, not on other pictures. It can't be used to search for an image, it can be used to search for words that often appear in an article that has pictures, then you can pray that it's any useful, and not just pixelart RPGs from the past decade, while clearly looking for the 80s.

As I've clearly mentioned previously, that "rule" is utter BS, literal nonsensical fallacy, and I ain't neither doing or tolerating that crap. It's not "Tales of Destiny", but a PS 2 remake of it, which is a drastically different experience and looks nothing like the actual "Tales of Destiny" (PSOne). That is a remake. Not a mere "remaster", but a full REMAKE. It's actually NEVER referred/referenced to simply as "Tales of Desiny", because it's just not. Naming/calling it that, would be the exact same mistake as proclaiming that Tales of Eternia is "Tales of Destiny II" (while ACTUAL Tales of Destiny 2 exists). Final Fantasy VI was NEVER "III" any, SaGa was NEVER "FF Legend", etc.

Director's cut does not change much as far as story goes, which is the most important part of Tales of. Thus I find this answer to be correct.

ToD's remake is drastically different, it's not just "story". Just as BIOHAZARD's REmake and B2R and B4R are not same thing as their original vanilla counterparts at all, so is ToD's remake not like PSOne's vanilla ToD at all either. Obviously and naturally, only a person that actually honestly played through all of those and seen/experienced all of their content and differences on their own, would be able to know and understand this. It's a very big mistake to generalize just because you, personally, didn't experience/seen/played the original. For example, the so-called self-proclaimed pseudo-"Resident Evil 3" is NOTHING like the VASTLY superior Last Escape/Nemesis, in all actuality it's so much worse that the nu-demak3 is actually utter garbage shit and totally inept 2/10 trash in comparison with the original 8/10 source material it's parasiting itself on, leeching off of Last Escape's/Nemesis' fame and popularity.

After checking the store pages it was clear what one he must have meant.
If you thought he was coincidentally guessing a different game with the same name you could have asked him to clarify.
