Well, I think that you could possibly give this game to me, because I really loved Civ IV, we've played this game a lot with my friends (warez) on hot seat and it was excellent, so i've bought the game. So I would like to try this game and enjoy it. My other turn base games are total wars, i've got them all except shogun. The next reason is that I have my 20th birthday on 21st October, so it would be really nice present:-)

i got 121 hours logged on civ 4 and still play it hard on steam.

also add about 1000 hours from civ2-3,heroes of might and magic back in the dark ages before we had steam.

you can be sure ill actually play it and not use it to pad my steam library,also ponies /)

i would like it because I would like it. I played way back when when colinization and those were out for windows 95. I have played the demo some and love the game. I would like it but cant afford it. I would gladly accept this. I love stratagy games and defenitly games like Civ 5! I hope you choose me. and best of luck to everyone one here for this game.

157,9 hours in Civilization V, the best strategy game in my opinion.

Well, I played Civ III quite a bit. But it long time ago (just one more turn, huh?). Tried to play it online with friends but without good results. I just couldn't stand waiting for a friend to give a command to every single worker (yes, you can call me noob as I automate most of them). A friend of mine gave his disk to try Civ IV, but at that time my laptop was way too weak to run it and it would crash instantly, so I haven't played that one. Hadn't played any other Civ since then.
But all of a sudden SG were almost flooded with Civ V giveaways, so I have been entering every single one of them (well, I definately have missed quick giveaways) in hopes I just might win one.
That is also the reason I came here, for a chance for one more turn.

Hi i am really looking to play new game. I have played dota 2 too much and now i am playing boderlanda2 and that game is damn good but its not so fun without co up or friends.so looking at screenshots and gameplay video of civilizarionV i am very much impressed and i am sure i will love that game.

Well i would like civ 5 because it is a great turn based strategy and as i dont have civ 3 on steam but i can tell you that i grew up playing that game on with my brother, always would have lan games going(i really sucked at it only could beat it on Chieftain. any other level id get murdered by AIs) anyways i hope to get this to remind of the good ol' days of my youth and so i can start playing with my brother online as he moved out now.

i was walking arround in the steamgifts forum, and then i found your post.... and so i put on my endoscopic, and start on dancing while analysing this topic, and then the beatiful word appeared CIV 5 NOT MATHER WHAT OTHER SAY I WILL ALWAYS SURVIVE, i will get that copy no mather what i would turn a front flip into a dive to the seas of awesomeness. so i decided to completly believe in humanity and now shut up ill pretend im a cup of tea

There are others on here that would make a better sob story than me. But the Civ games are some of my all time favorite games. I still play the hell out of Civ 3 because it's the only Civ able to play on my laptop. And at home, I play Civ 4 when my mother in law visits. I haven't gotten Civ 5 yet because I can not justify a game purchase at the moment and money is always tight.

I can promise you that Civ 5 will become my most played Steam game.

I'd say keep it, but since you are giving it away just give it to someone who owns Civ III or IV and has played at least 100 hours on steam for proof.

This will make picking easy as they will play it for sure.

I like civ V. Civ V is pretty. My father likes Civ V, so does my mom. When i grow up i want to be like Civ V.

Civ V Include 227 Achievement on Steam... only a crazy man same at me can clear all steam achievement on this good game ;)

I hate civ

I'm intrested in mythology. And because of that i played Age of Mythology too much. With that game I met with strategie games. But other strategy games didn't make me enjoy. Just i liked AoM. Maybe this one is beautiful. But I don't want it too much. Because I don't know how this game is.
