Dota 2 and LoL are similar products, so money a consumer spends on one is likely money that will not be spent on the other. Look at it like this: Would Blizzard add RIFT to its system? Sure, they might earn some extra cash from the % they get for RIFT sales through their store. However they would also lose money from people choosing RIFT over WoW
