I think Doujin 3 is pretty good, not really paying attention to the others.

I reserve 2 of these and 1 greenlight bundle. Doujin is probably my favorite bundle.

Well, yes. Most BeMine and a decent share of the other bundles were fairly good until a few months ago. I'd say they really lowered their standards recently.

Nope. In fact I like having the option to reserve. Its not like you have to reserve the bundle to get it, so I don't know why people dislike it so much. You can, I don't know, wait to see if you like what's there when it goes live.
Now as far as the contents go, it's gonna be hit or miss, but then again, so is most every other bundle from any other site.

I'm with you, Groupees used to be one of my favourite bundle sites and ever since they started this reserve thing, I'm yet to find something I've really liked. Even their last Be Mine (which are usually really good) was rather underwhelming.

No, there is only one ultimate garbage pit - Indie Gala. Groupees never was the best, but it was good and still good, it has different bundles and almost everyone of them has one reaaly interesting game, actually even the reserve option is pretty nice, it's always better to buy 5 average games (where one could always be really cool) for 1,5 than 5 absolutly shitty abominations from IG for 1,99. I'm just curious why trading coins aren't still there.

Indie Gala has had some decent bundles lately. They used to have pretty bad bundles, but they've been putting out better bundles now as far as I'm concerned. Indie Royale on the other hand puts out crap bundles constantly.

Agree about Depths of Fear. I also think the Leadership bundle is a good deal.

Groupees and IG are both pretty random. Some bundles are great (or 'pretty decent') and others are just trash. Then again HB does a third Team 17 bundle within a year, so I guess all of them run out of new games to bundle.

Honestly, I think only Humble Bundle and Bundlestars get it right with bundles these days. It wouldn't surprise me at all if they had a sort of 'monopoly' over selling bundles.

nah I don't think Bundlestars does it right either. (Just giving Steam keys straight up with no account page and not revealing sales numbers isn't good)

Bundlestars does have an account page unless you mean something entirely different. I can login and see what I've purchased.

at least they're offering some decent games, like the F.E.A.R. bundle, Paradox games bundled with DLCs, etc.

Considering I get my Bundlestars keys from my account page, I have no idea what you're on about.

I find Bundlestars to be pretty hit & miss. some of their bundles are great while others are pure crap and rebundles.

Eh, I think every bundle site is hit or miss. Shinyloots are 99% of the time always garbage, but I tend to come across at least 1 game in the major bundles they do (Be Mine and sometimes the themed ones) worth the price of entry and reserving a bundle for $1 is typically a very low risk gamble. Worst case scenario I try to get money back from games that have cards or trade/sell/GA the crap I dont want.
Same goes for Bundle Stars and IG. Humble is the same way, but Id say they usually have the most quality simply b/c they're the best known. IG's monthly bundles tend to be really good value espc when they have Happy Hours.
They're all hit or miss. But I'd reckon I dislike IndieRoyale the most, but even there they're hit and miss. The Mixer 11 has Derrick The Deathfin which is a wonderful game.

true. however Groupees and Bundlestars and IR don't go with their 20 dollar tiers to up the purchase price artificially. But I do agree. Bundles with no account pages were the worst (Bundlestars learn something from your fellow bundlers... as well as the defunct Bundle in a Box (which was good otherwise), DIG, and of course quite a few defunct bundles )

I would say Indiegala has the generally lowest quality(rather expensive). Groupees may be hit or miss but can have some nice stuff. Bundlestars are nice if a bit costly compared to most. HB generally does it best.

Indie Gala's $2 weekly sales are often on par with Humble Bundle's $6 weekly sales.

While I have to compliment your attitude of happily gifting games you don't want for yourself, I have to disagree about the reserve system. To me it's a rogue tactic to lure people into buying what they know to be poor bundles. Dilution of quality in numbers is a common problem in bundle sites, but Groupees went especially low, especially fast.

Well only one I liked a lot was the build a be mine bundle, which had 100% orange juice and 99 spirits. Other than that I always saw groupees as a locale for some pretty meh games.
but pretty much all bundle sites are running out of good games that would be allowed to be bundled. I wouldn't mind though if they put a poll for which bundle should be rebundled, I missed a lot of good ones

It's cold at my house today, even got some snow. It was cold yesterday and the day before too, by your logic could this mean that an ice age has begun?
If any bundle site has a few bundles you don't like it does not necessarily mean they are now a garbage site. Life is never so black and white, and as the Greatful Dead sang "Every silver lining has a touch of grey." :)

Not really.
Due to the nature of bundle sites, they will ALWAYS hit dry spells for new games to bundle. Not all developers are willing, after all. There are only so many games you can land a bundle deal for until you pretty much touch on everything that hasn't already been bundled (either on-site or in another bundle site). Indie games are often made into bundle fodder as a result, and unpopular or less polished games always tend to be far more willing. Consider that the bundle makers won't always have time to sit down and play all the games themselves to ensure absolute quality, and even then you always get differences in opinion.
You get what you pay for, and in bundle sites cases, sometimes you get a LOT more than what you pay for.
In the end, we're just too used to getting absurdly awesome deals, so that when a normal deal appears, some of us get into a bit of a flap about it.

About Indie Royale: That's another mixed site, also rather mysterious though if you're able to find something you like and act on it quick, it can be a good deal. Like the recent mystery bundle: Got 2-3 games I liked for 99 cents.

Groupees is probably the best or second-best bundle at the moment -- they offer bundles more often than HiB, and with (surprisingly) often fewer repeats. I have purchased every reserve they offered, and despite buying many bundles in the past I have never been disappointed.
Also, Groupees has a much nicer to use site than any of the others -- it's easy to pull up old bundles or old games. HiB's page with all your old bundles is good, but very slow to load if you have a lot. The others are all terrible by comparison (although Indie Royale is the absolute worst by far, since it clogs up the page with all the bundles you didn't buy, and uses images so you can't even use text searches to leap to a specific old bundle.)
Indie Royale also has the worst support. Other bundles will replace keys if you get one that was already used; Indie Royale won't, they tell you to contact the developer directly. And on top of that, if you buy a game with a Desura key from Indie Royale, and a Steam key is later added for that game, they will specifically disable the ability to get a Steam key from the Desura page, forcing you to get it from the IndieRoyale page instead. (This can be worked around, but it's still bullshit, especially since it's such a pain to find a specific old bundle you bought -- it feels like they deliberately make it as hard as possible to dig up the Steam keys that were added later.)
