I would like to be on your whitelist. I have over a hundred purchased Steam games and more that are non-Steam, over six years of PC gaming experience and I lack good people to game with which sucks cause a huge amount of my games are multiplayer. I can safely say that the A10 works amazing on my laptop with 8gb ram a 1tb ssd but on my desktop it isn't the fastest thing so I can personally tell you unless you are gaming only with a laptop, do not get the A10 for a desktop and a ssd is recommended. With only about 80 games installed my hard drive I have about 200gb left so I would deffinetly recommend getting at least 1tb, at some point I am going to get a 4tb external.

Thanks for the reply.

You can add me if you would like game with me :D
I'm off the A10 plan, i'm going for an i5 and 1TB seems also a good deal since the price difference is slightly.

Anyway, Thanks !

Although i can't provoide advice related to computers, I can instead provoide advice related to games...And what can suit you.
First, tell me what games you like. Then i try to pick some for ya. Just trying to help, you know?
I, like all of my friends in friendlist can't keep up with playing together, so...But hey, people are always busy, right?

Ok, then my picks for ya:
Ring Runner: Flight of the Sages http://store.steampowered.com/app/258010/ is a...action shooter RPG game with good story and soundtrack.
The Witcher series: Realistic choices that i experienced from original and 2nd part made those games glorious. 3rd part is no expection.
STALKER series: Made by Russians(Ukrainians), this one while didn't got very much accpected by critics, it formed a cult following and all 3 games recivied critical praise from Russians and other people alike.
Fallout series: Great ones too.
Elder Scrolls series: Also great, but Skyrim was the most popular while IV was story goodish.
Borderlands series: With expection of Pre-sequel, all of them was good.
Dungeons of Dredmor: Was great, and so now.
I would continue, but snice that would be just big word rambling, i suggest also find games via how many reviews it got, if its Overwhelmingly positive, its very likely its great.

Congrats on the new PC! I had to cash out on pc stuff recently cause both my laptop AND desktop died within a month of each other, so good luck with yours :D It'd be great if you whitelisted me, and I'm always looking for an extra person to play with. Either way, good luck and have fun!

The video card is decent, anything X60 and over in the Geforce line is pretty good for gaming.
I had GTX560 Ti 2GB (died) upgraded to a used GTX590 3GB and don't notice that big of a difference other than heat (also Saints Row randomly crashes when you have SLI.. fun fun).
Power supply, based on your proposed build it is a little over kill. However it leaves you head room for upgrades. Due to a sale (and me not factoring in the higher electric costs of a higher PSU) I bought a 750W power supply when my system only needed about 500W (being generous). Then when I upgraded to the GTX 590 I suddenly needed a 700W (based on the box) so I was glad to have the extra headroom.
i5 if at all possible to upgrade to an i7 it isn't a bad idea. i5 is fine though. I went from a slightly faster i5 to an i7 and I did notice a difference. Got a used one off Kijiji (Craig's List style site). The i7 helped a lot more despite being ~200MHz slower...
RAM as I mentioned earlier, 8GB is okay today, 6 months from now.. I would assume you would be wishing for a little more. I'd go for at least 12GB right now, preferably 16 GB and depending on the board you end up with. 2x8GB or perhaps 4x4GB if quad channel compatible board (but that kind of blocks future expansion without wasted parts).
I don't really have an opinion on the hard drive, just check reviews, all brands are hit and miss, I'd rather have a performance one over a Eco/Green for my main drive. I'd also consider adding a secondary, perhaps a Green drive just for backups.
I used to believe in ASUS for motherboards, but my current computer has given me nothing but trouble with my ASUS DVD Burner (ejection system went on it 45 days after purchase), and ASUS Motherboard (on board audio is reversed and not repairable, support would do nothing and would not warranty the defect. I didn't notice in time to return the board to the store.)
I don't have a favourite case.
