Anyone getting Dead Space 3? [I'm still looking for a COOP partner.]

Is anyone getting it? I have it pre loaded and I am waiting for it to be released tomorrow.
Anyone planning on buying it who wants to play COOP?

EDIT:

If you are only here to bitch about EA or microtransactions, or to judge the game without playing it, please do not waste your time commenting. I am looking for a COOP partner, not opinions that cannot be backed up by personal experience.
If you have played the game, please tell me what you thought!

it's a good shooter with elements of rpg, and it's not scary at all, thru 10 hours playing there were 2 times in game I was scared, no atmosphere

Dead Space 3 is good game. A bit too much climbing but hey - you can kill some zambies. I mean - zombies. Zombies not zambies. Zombies. Z-o-m-b-i-e-s. They are coming for me. HELP ME!

They openly admitted to not making the best product they could so the console players wouldn't be envious. I won't buy into such business practices, especially with the money grubbing micro transactions in a SP game. Fuck EA.

Actually, Visceral were the ones who admitted to making a "half assed" console port. But that turned out to be a lie. It does not feature DX11, but it does have everything a DX9 game should. FOV, AA, AF, etc. Also, the microtransactions aren't needed.

But yes, fuck EA.

Indeed you're right, I have tried it myself, was nearly the same as the Dead Space 2 port which wasn't bad at all. Had many video options as you said. The game wasn't nearly demanding at all and easily looked better than the console counterpart, was getting like 160fps minimum, too bad vsync capped to 30fps, that shouldn't be so. Am already rid of it anyways, but good to know it's not as bad as they made it out to be. Wonder why it go so much media attention and yet Ds2 didn't, and why they felt the need to mention that they were going to be doing a half assed port, when it was the same as Ds2's essentially.

Then the only way I will play it, if I ever do, is pirating the game. No way I'm buying anything on Origin. Probably won't even bother though, it's not like there aren't tons of better games out there anyway.
