Seeing this thread title on the GOG forum always made me appreciate the nice little things that happened to me, so I decided to post one here.

If anything nice happened to you over the past few days that you want to share, go ahead and post it. (But please don't post if the thing you liked is something bad happening to someone else.)

Me, it made me happy that my 6 year old loves Magic: The Gathering. We bought some Pokemon TCG cards for him because his friends have some, but there wasn't enough there for a game, and I had an old unopened MTG two player starter box, so told him it's similar and we played, and since then (Thursday) he wants to play it all the time.

Magic... I've tried to master it but I just dont have it in me. Lack of patience, willingness I guess.
One of my friends travels the world with these GP's for Magic. Not my cup of tea but its cool to see how far het got.

But ontopic.
Nothing yet. One of my kids is sick (fever), I had a horrible night (awake for 90%), forgot my lunch, had to go to work.
It aint all that bad. no need to complain, but its hasnt been a happy day yet.

Thanks for posting (it makes me happy), even if your day hasn't yet been happy. I hope you find some points of light later in the day.

I know the days. This period hasn't been easy for me, but at least I work with nice people and have a nice family, and there are always some things that can make me happy, even if they're sometimes fleeting enough that they're drowned by other stuff. For example yesterday my 9 year old offered to pick the 7 year old from school. Didn't end up taking her on that offer, but it makes me happy when the kids try to give instead of just leech (to use SG terms). Had some other things this week that made me happy. Just need to focus on those things. :)

I found today at my mother's a Shadow Knight shirt. That was an expansion for the Amber Diceless Roleplaying game. I didn't remember that I had that shirt, or that such a shirt existed. It made me happy but also sad, remembering that Erick Wujcik, the game creator, who I corresponded with a little (in the days when that stuff was done with letters), died of cancer at age 57, and Steve Russell, who created Lords of Gossamer & Shadow, a game to pick up the mantle of Amber Diceless, and which I backed on Kickstarter, died in a car accident at the age of 42.

It's necro time.

I found out today that Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light is a really good co-op game. Played it with my son and we enjoyed it. It's nice that the levels are slightly different for co-op.
