I'm also happy that I discovered yesterday that it may be possible to use my new 4TB drive with the HTPC if I use the default Windows drivers instead of the nForce ones. Haven't tried it yet, but if it works I'd be very happy.
Edit: I also discovered today that two singles from Amaranthe's new album are already available, and the album is up for preorder on iTunes. That Song isn't typical Amaranthe fare, and some fans don't like that, but I enjoyed it (I'm a sucker for Elize Ryd's voice, and I'm fine with rock).

Made a lot of progress in the garden the past week or so and found it very rewarding. Put about 20 hours in clearing overgrown bushes and had fun out there. Still got a little tidying to do but I'm essentially done. Guy Fawkes Night is less than a month away and I've now got a nice pile of sticks to burn for the occassion.

Well, last night I was a bodyguard for Nelly (the music artist).
I'm not a huge fan of his music, but he was a super cool guy.
Next month I'll be on security detail for Carrie Underwood, looking forward to that. :3

Yesterday I went with the kids to play basketball. Ended up playing football penalties, but hey... Anyway, a couple of guys were playing tennis nearby and one of them exclaimed 'son of a bitch', and then turned to me and apologised, which I thought was cute.

Seeing this thread title on the GOG forum always made me appreciate the nice little things that happened to me, so I decided to post one here.

Me, it made me happy that my 6 year old loves Magic: The Gathering. We bought some Pokemon TCG cards for him because his friends have some, but there wasn't enough there for a game, and I had an old unopened MTG two player starter box, so told him it's similar and we played, and since then (Thursday) he wants to play it all the time.
