Dat attempt to get to front page. But game really just looks like incomprehensible trash.

Last week, I sent an email to a teacher from my highschool who really made an impact on my life and not only did he respond, but he remembered who I was and it meant a lot.

I learned the meaning of the word 'poop': "In naval architecture, a poop deck is a deck that forms the roof of a cabin built in the rear" (from Wikipedia). Was mentioned in Prince Caspian (Narnia book 2).
Played the DLC of LEGO Batman 3 with my son, and the parody content there is great. I mentioned some here (by the way, I just ordered the DVD of Arrow season 1), but also there's a part where Jor El needs to send his son Kal away from Krypton, and he uses the pun 'Neil before Zod', which I used around 20 years ago in my never finished novel The Next Regeneration (an ST-TNG/D&D mashup). You can read its prologue in this train if you're interested.

Today I had a god awful day at work. Apparently a guy from day shift can't make a bail properly so we had like 5 bails that freaking exploded. They left the mess for night shift. (Me.) While we were out there (me and my supervisor.) we discovered three bails, ruined, from freaking 2016. We ended up saving 6 bails, and needing to re bail 2. The first one had a HUGE ant nest in it. Surprise. Got bit a couple of times, few big spiders, whatever, life goes on. Busy day. I get home, turn my shower on boiling hot, scrubbed the feeling of ants crawling on my skin off, and here I sit with a cold glass of water, thinking of all the money I made today staying back so late. Mwahahahaha.

Today I got an awesome Father's Day card from my 6-year old son, along with homemade chocolate chip cookies that he made with his grandmother. And we spent the afternoon together, playing a couple of games on Steam and just hanging out. Pretty cool!

I'm not a very nostalgic person, but I saw the Sinclair ZX80 at the science museum in London and wanted to hug it. :) That was the cutest home computer I ever owned. Lovely colour scheme and a kind of spaceship design, with the engine on top. Really cool.

Basically this. I though it was funny until they launched cyber nukes at the end, then I just couldn't stop laughing for a full minute.

Someone who I really look up to, I got to make them smile and get at least the slightest bit happy. Honestly I could even promise you right now that at the very least, this experience will be the highlight of my entire month

Seeing this thread title on the GOG forum always made me appreciate the nice little things that happened to me, so I decided to post one here.
If anything nice happened to you over the past few days that you want to share, go ahead and post it. (But please don't post if the thing you liked is something bad happening to someone else.)
Me, it made me happy that my 6 year old loves Magic: The Gathering. We bought some Pokemon TCG cards for him because his friends have some, but there wasn't enough there for a game, and I had an old unopened MTG two player starter box, so told him it's similar and we played, and since then (Thursday) he wants to play it all the time.
