My wishlist says Zestiria but my heart says cook serve delicious :D You have some hours already but I guess it's just idling. You might say hmmm but the screenshots look silly? But the gameplay is a ma zing

I voted for This War of Mine, altough I only finished 50% of the game and give it "hold" status. Its interesting game, but after 2 or 3 scenario - veeeery easy...
Not to mention its kinda repetitive :)
But 3 or 4 scenario will fit anyone :)

I voted for War of mine. I played it when it got on steam and it was super impressive and sad sometimes too. I liked it so much that i bought the next day a second copy for a friend as a surprise gift:)
A "run" doenst take ages but i would recommend to play it more times since people and locations are different. And i want to play it again one day;)

If the goal is really to reduce your backlog you should absolutely ignore the poll and start with the shorter games like Limbo, The Vanishing of Ethan Carter, Contrast or the Bird Story. Then you can also feel more relaxed playing the at the moment leading games where you need atleast 20-30 hours to just play through the game once.

Considering that you have a few hours I would go for To The Moon

A Bird Story is short too, but... I don't know.. it wasn't that great to me.

Limbo is short too and it's definitely worth it.

Valkyria is AWESOME, I won it from you, (thanks again :3) probably wouldn't have bought it with my money because I'm not a fan of the genre\anime-asian like stuff.. anyway it's long, you should play it when you have more time.

I took a look at your libary:
Terraria is really a good game but takes time and maybe take some of your friends and play it together which makes the most fun:)
Bardbarian i played some time ago and its really fun:) And doenst take so much time either.
Prison Architect you can always start and stop:) So you dont have to play it in one run.
Tropico3+4 are really really good:) At least i enjoyed them many hours;)

It probably would be the easiest to beat A Bird Story. The Vanishing of Ethan Carter is short too. Contrast is lovely and short too. I finished Talos in 3 days, so it's beatable in a week.
People probably are voting what they want to be given away and not what you're able to beat in a week, seeing how most votes go to Tales of Zestria and Pillars of Eternity :D

you won't ever finish Pillar of Eternity it it's anywhere as long as Baldurs gate.

I haven't checked all your agmes but I think Battlepaths can be finished in a week or less. Personally I haven't finished this game as it's quite long but definitely week is enough to do this. And it's also quite enjoyable imo.
You may also beat Left 4 Dead 2. There are few campaigns so You somehow beat the game after completing them, don't You?:P And this won't take You longer then 2-3 days I think.

PS. Please, share your way to earn money as I still can't believe any student could be so rich :D

I beat only 3 games on your backlog: A Bird Story, To the Moon and Back to Bed. They are all pretty short to beat so if you want to clear that backlog, they are part of the top of the list I guess :p

I saw that you have NightSky on the list too, I'm currently playing it and if you liked Type:Rider, you should try Collisions as well someday since you have it in your very little library :p I finished it few days ago, it's a nice little game and kinda short.

Other games you have and I can recommend: Journey of a Roach (really loved it, cute story and nice atmosphere) and Thomas Was Alone maybe.
