Towns? With 43% of the vote? Really? With Giana Sisters dead last?

I voted Giana Sisters, and it's one of those games I'll probably buy for whatever price by the end of the sale just because it looks so epic, hopefully it makes a flash deal :>

By what i have seen the TB video review of Giana Sisters, it looks quite good.

Ever wonder why people might think the SteamGifts community is toxic sans trying to give away free games?

Well here's a thread of it. Way too many people throwing around "cry more" especially on a day like today.

For the record I voted for Giana Sisters knowing full well a game like Towns would be winning. At least that way I would have been legitimately surprised if Giana Sisters won.

I voted Mines of Moria, or whatever it was called.

I personally voted for Towns, as it was the only game there I didn't already own in case I decided to buy it, though out of all of them, Giana Sisters was definitely the best choice for anyone who was missing it. I honestly expected Giana Sisters to win, can't believe it lost to towns :/

Giana Sisters is not the most famous from them, to me, towns was.

I'm quite surprised of the outcome too. Towns has been rather infamous in similar matter to WarZ- people say it's unfinished and crap, lol. Well, guess it was just me hearing that since I don't like it's genre in general. ^_^

That was an unexpected display of good taste from the Steam community.

I So wanted Miner Wars to win, since it was already -50% and vote was for -50% :)

And Miner Wars is just awful!
Alpha didn't start at all and in Final (Demo), just main menu works.
It's still better than crash on start ;)

Ps. Descent is great game!

Opinions, opinions. Different games appeal to different people. They are both good games, I'd been more shocked if Miner Wars had won. On a side note, Towns is quite unique, Giana is yet another gimmicky platformer, and a lot of people are tired of them.

voted for Giana Sisters (played the original back in the 80's) but bought Towns for my GF.Now she HAS to learn how to play the game,deal with all the problems since it would be rude to refuse a gift. ahahahaha
